Tous Man by Tous

I’ve had it for a few months and use it occasionally; I find it pleasant (like almost everything I’ve tried, I rarely dislike anything). I have great respect for the perfumer and their team for the work they invested, which makes it hard to write a negative review. I’ve had a collection for almost four years, but I’m not an expert, just an enthusiast who recognizes some notes and olfactory families. No fragrance has ever made me feel sick, nauseous, or caused a headache, though one girl said her stomach relaxed with a strong Oud scent 😅. I’m not the type to freak out at the sight of a cockroach. That said, I wear Tous Man to the office and almost everyone likes it; even people asked me where to buy it. The downside is its short longevity on my skin, which I solve with a decant and reapplication; projection is also below average. In short, I like it and wear it during the day, never at night.

It has a very distinctive scent I’ve never smelled before, highlighting its fruity notes: pineapple, apple, and orange, with a special Campari touch. In the opening, the pepper is barely noticeable, but the ginger gives it a nice kick. As it dries down, a more serious base adds character, making it feel masculine; I perceive it as very 2000s, even 90s, i.e., vintage, yet despite this, it’s not outdated; a young person could wear it easily today. Regarding performance, personally it lasts 6-8 hours with 5 sprays, which surprises me for an EDT. Projection is less effective, meant for close range (not beyond arm’s length). In conclusion, it’s well worth the price and what it offers; I recommend it for daily wear, office, outings with friends, or a partner, and if you overapply with 10+ sprays for a party. It’s very versatile.

Where do they find the sweetness in this fragrance? Can anyone explain?

I tested it in Madrid during winter at 4°C and it felt ideal for the cold. It doesn’t seem appropriate for warm days. Regardless of the weather, I think it’s modern and timeless. I’m a huge fan of musk, and it’s perfect here, very well balanced with sandalwood and amber. Compared to ‘One Million,’ it seems like anything that doesn’t smell like cotton candy, vanilla, and lollipops isn’t valued. I like it for work days, with a white shirt, in autumn and winter. To me, it belongs in the same family as Bvlgari BLV, Narciso Rodríguez for Him, and Guess Seductive Blue.

Although I like this perfume for daily wear… my office colleagues sent me to take a shower… THEY COULDN’T STAND IT!!!. I definitely wouldn’t buy it again. It’s a pleasant scent, but its price of 600 MXN isn’t that cheap compared to what it offers and the reactions it generates. I think the Sport edition of this EDT smells much better.

I’ve been eyeing this fragrance for a while; I disagree with the negative opinions read here. Although we know fixation varies between people, the scent, while similar to others, seems to have something distinct to me. On me, it has medium projection of 2-3 hours, but the scent lasts around 7 hours; I think it’s above-average performance. It’s not linear, has phases though not very defined; it’s fresh and suitable for any occasion, though I don’t see it as formal.

It was one of the first perfumes I bought. Everyone wears it differently; I absolutely love it. It has great longevity, smells delicious, and is discreet. I feel it’s for personal enjoyment, with not much of a trail, only noticeable up close after a few hours. I love this perfume 😀

In short, I HATE IT. It smells like apple, but it’s such a simple and generic scent that it’s boring and even gives me a headache. I don’t recommend it.

I tried it on my uncle’s skin, and honestly, I can’t remember what it smelled like. It was a simple, uninteresting scent that didn’t last even an hour. Plus, the value for money is terrible for such an unknown brand.
