I happened to walk past a Tous leather store in the mall and saw the bottle in the window. I went in and at a stand there were several fragrances, this being the only masculine one. It immediately reminded me of a Jacques Bogart (I think it was Story Red, which isn’t on Fragrantica). It made a pleasant impression and I think I detected that neroli for the first time, which had always eluded me. Very youthful and clean. Recommended.
At first it reminds me of D&G Pour Homme, the pre-reformulated version, which is why I bought it. It’s a very good fragrance, a bit sweet and cloying if overused, but very long-lasting. I recommend it.
For someone very special, haha. Years ago my dad used this and I ignored it, but when looking for something new I found it and it’s amazing. Smells super young and clean, not as intense as people say. I loved it: everything is masculine, with musk, amber, tonka vanilla, and lavender. Highly recommended.
Smells rich and sweet, but it’s quite generic; it reminds me of several fragrances. As @francisnatanael says, at first it recalls D&G Pour Homme and some Carolina Herrera, though I don’t remember which one. The base is classic: oakmoss, amber, tonka vanilla, and musk, which I’ve smelled in others like Calvin Klein Eternity or Beverly Hills Wings. It smells good, but I wouldn’t buy it unless it were at an irresistible price, since I already have that repeated formula. Ideal for daytime, family outings, and maybe the office.
Greetings. Those who say it’s generic are right; smelling it brings vague memories of many fragrances due to very common ingredients, like the famous and overused Haba tonka. But… yes, it’s a very pleasant aroma with somewhat heavy sillage and lasting longevity. I think it’s one of those scents that, while pleasant, get tiring over time, so I’ll use it very occasionally or mix it with another fragrance from time to time.
At first, a soft citrus note, probably the blend of petit grain and neroli. Then came a floral impression that felt more like violet leaves than lavender. The sage adds that cleanliness note, so it smells fresh. After 4 hours, I clearly detect the lavender, along with the florals and neroli, reminding me of parts of the D&G Pour Homme, that soapy floral touch. At 8 hours, the sage is still present (not sharp or metallic like in other scents), the musk, and a note trying to emulate moss (with IFRA limitations, they should probably stop using it, as it lost the depth of decades ago). At 12 hours, only the musk remains. It’s quite herbal and floral, with little sweetness (I didn’t notice the amber or tonka) and zero woods or fruits. It’s not very innovative, as some phases remind me of other fragrances. Using the entire sample, more than 1 ml, I got moderate sillage, well-perceptible but never heavy (the Azzaro Pour Homme is also an aromatic fougere, and that one definitely has heavy sillage, just so you understand). Longevity was good, over 12 hours, with the last traces right on the skin. For its type, it’s suited for spring and daytime use. The surname ‘Intense’ has once again become an empty word in modern perfumery, without meaning in this case.
I like the lavender note because it gives a clean vibe, like a freshly laundered white shirt (okay, that’s a bit of a stretch, lol), but afterward I notice the rancid tonka, which is trendy, though with less volume than in others. Then there’s a lot of musk, which gives it a slightly plastic and generic effect. Still, I think people who are new to fragrances or don’t have high expectations might like it; plus, it performs well. I could smell it on me a bit more than the Lutens Fille En Aiguilles, which I was also wearing.
Smells very similar to the soapy citrus note in D&G Pour Homme… they’re quite alike, but this one has better longevity.
Paid almost $100 and it was a disaster: it doesn’t last on the skin at all. I tried everything to make it stick, but nothing worked. I always buy designer scents, and none have ever failed me this badly; when I saw the bottle, I thought it was French, but it says ‘made in Spain’. My brother owns a 212 Man, which is also from Spain, and that one actually works, so I’m really upset. I tested it before and it did last, but then the store wouldn’t let me return it. Fatal experience.
A slightly generic fragrance that fulfills its purpose: it achieves the clean and aromatic sensation. It might remind you of other perfumes in certain phases, but it’s suitable for informal use, preferably at night, with decent longevity. @Priethcallas: Hi, sorry, but how is a fragrance defined as ‘Intense’ if it lasts 12 hours on your skin? I envy you in this; personally, few have surpassed 8 hours on my skin. No controversy, clearly. Greetings. Update: Thanks for your response.
@Jerry Drake: for me, a perfume labeled ‘Intense’, ‘Extreme’, or ‘Forte’ should have a powerful sillage. This one lasts on my skin, but with moderate to low projection. It’s just about how you understand the adjective ‘Intense’ or what you’re looking for when it carries that label.
Not much to say; you apply it and immediately, if you had the Dolce & Gabbana from the 90s, you identify it. A bit synthetic, but with good performance. With floral notes and a spicy base, it feels like a young ‘Scandalous’. It’s not sweet, citrusy, or woody, which takes you out of the monotony of ‘Invictus’ for a while. Does it feel old? Yes, but a young risk-taker who wants to stand out would dare. Smells clean, like a new item, fresh and freshly made. Scent 8, Longevity 8, Projection 7, Price 8.
It seems like it doesn’t last long, but on skin it’s intense and durable. Smells clean, very bar soap-like. I see it for cold climates because it’s dense, or for the office with AC to project cleanliness; in heat, it can be annoying. Edit: after several days on skin, I sold it. The floral notes become too present and bothersome; I don’t like how it evolves and it conveys nothing. I don’t think anyone would compliment me wearing it.
Pity it’s an overlooked gem: fresh, pleasant lavender with good performance, ideal for the office as a personal scent. It has that classic lavender vibe like Burberry or DG, but it lacks the mint or tobacco touch that makes them more sensual; here, floral cleanliness with neroli and sage takes the lead. ‘Intense’ sounds like exaggeration, but if you know the family, you see that the classic Tous Men is more citrusy and simple, so the surname makes sense. For me, it’s a great reference point for its olfactive family.
This perfume seems to have a nostalgic vibe, not just because one of its creators is Pierre Wargnye, behind Drakkar Noir, arguably the most important cologne of the eighties, but because it feels conceived in another decade and transported to today by a time machine. The proposal is formal yet fresh, clean, neat, even soapy, though also spiced and wood-heavy. In short, the perfect office perfume: serious, elegant, commanding respect, yet kind to others thanks to its floral, citrus, and herbal top notes. It’s a well-made mid-nineties fragrance that respects the wearer. Finally, an “Intense” that makes sense: Tous Man Intense is powerful, lasts all day without being excessive, and projects above average. Very similar to Dolce & Gabbana Pour Homme, but without the lavender dominance, or even Fierce, as if it had gone through a steroid cycle. That’s the idea: citrus, herbal, metallic, spiced, and woody. People will notice you approaching, but in a good way. The best office perfume I’ve ever smelled.
Definitely worth it, a great purchase. Lasting power is very good: you apply it in the morning and still catch a whiff throughout the day, especially if it lands on your clothes. It’s not a seduction bomb, but it has a pleasant scent that makes you feel great; bright, clean, and perfect for heading to work or as a signature everyday fragrance. Excellent quality-to-price ratio, giving you access to a top-tier brand. A smart pick for your collection.
It smells identical to the 2017 Perry Ellis. It stays the same for the first two hours, then develops a sweeter facet that sets it apart from Perry Ellis and Abercrombie. It has great longevity on clothes, though personally, you need to be close to appreciate it. It’s nice and finishes with an amber touch that lingers until the very end. Worth it for the quality-price ratio. If you don’t have Abercrombie, Montblanc Legend, or the 2017 Perry Ellis, this is a good option. Out of everything I own, the Perry Ellis lasts much longer than the reformulated Abercrombie.
Pleasant aroma and not at all intrusive. Ideal for the office and enclosed spaces. Good performance compared to other scents from this brand I’ve tried. Overall, it’s a great fragrance for the price-to-quality ratio. The white florals combined with lavender give it a soapy, clean vibe, perhaps at the expense of the “attraction” factor other notes might provide. For everyday wear in an office or professional setting, it’s an excellent choice.
The perfume doesn’t disgust me, but I can’t say I love it. I bought it for the price and because it’s often compared to Fierce or D&G Pour Homme, which are ridiculously expensive or impossible to find here. The opening is fresh and pleasant, though it lasts only a few minutes. I don’t detect clear fruity notes, but there’s something sweet, powdery, and soapy, like a distant coconut. I can’t pinpoint lavender, sage, or florals; it seems the base notes dominate from start to finish. I can’t really compare it to anything, though I remember smelling something similar on a white bar deodorant, maybe Nivea or Rexona? When it dries down, it clings to the skin with a vanilla-ish tone. It’s linear, almost monotonous. The longevity is brutal: over 8 hours and still going. The projection is subdued but persistent; it follows you everywhere like you stepped in dog poop and can’t get it off until you wash your shoes. My nose isn’t hooked on it, but I don’t think anyone would dislike it—it smells like a detox soap bath, which explains why it’s a top pick for the office. Verdict: acceptable in scent, price, and performance.
What a surprise! I always let this fragrance pass, many times I wanted to buy it but couldn’t decide. Now that I have it, I can say it’s a delicious herbal aroma, somewhat soapy, smelling clean and fresh like just out of the shower. It’s like a mix of Fierce by Abercrombie and Dolce&Gabbana Pour Homme, an easy-to-please scent and very masculine, ideal for warm weather and enclosed places like offices. Tous Man Intense is a very underrated fragrance, truly a good surprise; for me, it’s the best from the Tous brand.
I have it in my hands again today. I remember when I first met it, back in 2013. I fell in love from that moment, and when I wore it, I received many compliments. It’s a fragrance that delivers on all fronts. Excellent for any occasion. For dates, it’s great because it definitely gets a few sighs out of people, hehe. From my point of view, it’s like a well-made combination between Fierce by Abercrombie & Fitch and Dolce & Gabbana Pour Homme. Rich, aromatic, dark green, sweet, herbal. Wow, it’s a well-made gem. I recommend it for the office and even for night outings, a bar with friends, or a solo date. As for longevity, it does very well: 6-8 hours with moderate and solid projection. Yes, I recommend trying it first, because if you’re demanding or an expert, you might feel it’s generic. For me, I don’t care if it’s ‘generic’; I’m simply fascinated and I’ve bought it again to enjoy. Big hug and blessings to everyone.
Excellent fragrance for daily wear. Both for its clean, semi-formal, and friendly scent, and for its price, which is usually very convenient. Basically, it smells like lavender soap with other flowers and herbs. The opening is a bit green and floral, calm… as it develops, it shifts from herbal/floral to something sweeter with a musky touch. Good longevity, moderate trail. It’s not very young nor vintage; it’s in the middle. It’s for wearing with neat but comfortable clothes: shirt, sweater, trench coat… maybe jeans. Office attire.
A delicacy for daily wear, office type. I recommend it for days that aren’t too hot or night outings. If you don’t have many perfumes, this is versatile: daily use, night outs, dinners with the girlfriend, conquest. Super recommended.
Batch 2013. Recent blind buy. I don’t know if it’s normal since I haven’t compared it with another bottle, but the opening feels a bit strong and rough, with lots of alcohol. After 15 minutes, the magic begins. To my nose, it’s like Montblanc Legend but more floral, with the orange notes very present. Floral but masculine without a doubt. Ideal for the 20 to 40 age range, daily wear or office, spring, with a shirt. Projection and trail are moderate, longevity a bit above average. A rare fragrance to find in Argentina, but online I found the 50ml on sale for about $20. If it weren’t for the strong and ugly opening of my bottle, I wouldn’t hesitate to super recommend it. Update January 2023: Humor y Paz by Natura smells 90% the same, only Tous has better quality and longevity. EDIT 2025: Not worth it, 3/10.
The moment I apply it, I feel like I’ve been thrown back to the 90s or 2000s. I’m thrilled to find this olfactory piece that revives the classic cut of that era. It starts with a combo of lavender and sage, fresh as if they were in a distant field under the sun, with herbal petitgrain and sour neroli that makes it soapy and clean. The projection is immense at first. After an hour, it becomes denser with that cold, metallic lavender. It leaves a huge trail. The next day, tonka bean adds a soft sweetness, though I detect a chemical point that reminds me of shoe polish. On skin, it lasts 8 hours and 3 days on clothes. It has a great resemblance to the Dolce&Gabbana Vintage version, my favorite. It evokes old small-plane hangars, the metallic smell, my uncle with his leather jacket and a cigarette. It’s deeply nostalgic, bringing back faces of lost family and friends. I enjoy its aroma immensely. I apologize for rambling; it fills me with joy to share these experiences. Greetings.
I’ve had it for about 4 years and had left it because, although I love the scent, the longevity was terrible, at best 2 hours. I came back a couple of weeks ago and it was the same, so I thought, ‘well, I’ll finish it.’ However, yesterday without me noticing anything, a girl asked me the name so she could buy it for her boyfriend, and almost 9 hours had passed since I applied it. Then I started noticing it too. I think I’ll give it another chance.
Upon applying it, I feel like everything goes back to the 90s or 2000s. I’m excited to find this olfactive piece that recalls the classic cut of back then. It starts with a harmonious combo of lavender and sage, fresh as if they were in a distant field under the sun and morning air, accompanied by herbal petitgrain and bright as if crushing a lemon leaf, plus a sour neroli that makes it soapy and clean. In the first 30 minutes, the projection is immense. After an hour, it stays linear but loses its initial brightness, becoming dense and rounded with a cold, metallic lavender. Projection is moderate but leaves a huge trail. The next day, in the heart notes, it stays firm with a soft tonka vanilla sweetness. I detect a chemical point that reminds me of shoe polish. On skin it lasted 8 hours and 3 days on clothes. It has a great resemblance to the Vintage version of D&G Pour Homme, my favorite. Very versatile, it evokes old small-plane hangars smelling of metal and oil, my uncle with his leather jacket and D&G Vintage smoking before flying. I find all that here. I have no idea how much I enjoy its aroma; in it I find old memories, faces of family and friends I’ve lost track of. It’s deeply nostalgic… Sorry to ramble so much, it fills me with pleasure to share these experiences. Cheers!
Excellent fragrance, masculine and very versatile. Its best setting is the office or something casual. It reminds me a lot of Dolce&Gabbana Pour Homme, which is a delight. It projects better than that one and lasts longer on the skin. Super recommended.
Please stop thinking this fragrance is only ‘for the office.’ Open your minds and realize there are many more places to wear it. It’s contradictory to call it versatile and then box it into a single setting.
Smells almost exactly like Dolce&Gabbana Pour Homme, and I absolutely love it. It’s one of those scents you reach for when you can’t decide, plus it has a great price. Highly recommended.
The scent feels like another era; it’s a green smell, a bit more modern than classic fougères but not modern. It smells serious and clean. It’s very versatile, ideal for the office where it’s famous; it’s the smell of the veteran colleague who’s been there all their life. To me, at 48, I don’t see myself wearing it; if I’m looking for something vintage, I prefer something that makes a statement, something bolder. Longevity is reasonable, good for a half-day or intensive wear, but it doesn’t last until late afternoon for a split shift. The price seems high; I think there are better options for both vintage and modern scents with that goal in mind. If you’re thinking about the office, I personally think the undervalued Part Time Hero from the goose is a very good option.
I ordered it for myself; I’m 26. I liked the sweetness of the tonka, but overall, it’s a perfume for people 40 and up. I gave it to my dad because I think it suits him perfectly.
It sounds a bit retro, early 2000s style, and you can tell it’s a bit outdated. At first, it didn’t convince me, but upon trying it again, it’s nothing striking. I’d lean more toward Tous Man Chill, which is fresher and more elegant. The price is high, at least here in Mexico. I’d use it for informal outings, hanging out at home, or at the office. Price 7/10, longevity 8/10, sillage 7/10.
It’s the younger version of D&G Pour Homme. It keeps that classic soapy base, but the tonka adds a touch of soft sweetness.
Top fragrance, smells like a freshly showered and clean man. It lasted over 12 hours on my clothes and about 6 on my skin. For the price, it’s a total hit, one of my favorites.
Generic perfume, in the style of many low-cost options on the market: Bustamante, Nike, Banderas, some from Zara, etc. It doesn’t resemble D&G Pour Homme, Intense, or anything like that. Citrus opening with sweetened lavender and a little musk in the base, nothing more. As for performance, it lacks both good projection and longevity; nothing to highlight. There are hundreds of perfumes on the market I’d buy before this one, and they’re even cheaper.
Good perfume. It has decent projection and excellent longevity, lasting over 10 hours on my skin. I bought the 50 ml bottle at El Corte Inglés in 2023. It’s a white floral with aromatic green touches. I don’t find it generic; it has personality and doesn’t resemble Le Male or D&G Pour Homme without citrus. It follows the path of Fierce but lacks metallic notes. It’s an all-rounder, suitable for all year except extreme summer heat. Perfect for work in air-conditioned environments; it lasts the whole day, and I can still smell it at night. It could be a signature scent. It’s not expensive and is well worth it for what it offers.
I discovered this perfume in 2015 on a trip; I bought it as a gift for my father, but I liked it so much that I’m still using it 10 years later. It’s very versatile: office, walks, nightouts; people like it and it’s not annoying. Its evolution has changed; I remember it lasted over 8 hours on my skin back then, now it lasts but with less intensity. On clothes, it doesn’t change—if you wash it, it still smells when you iron the shirt. I give it 9/10 for being versatile and because it always brings me back to 2015. If you want to use it, I recommend it; it’s a good perfume that not only gets you compliments but makes you feel secure.
First time trying this Spanish brand, and I got Tous Man Intense. I was pleasantly surprised; it’s a fairly modern fougère. It hits the three B’s (good, beautiful, and cheap). The herbal notes with neroli open up with unusual intensity, giving a sense of well-being. Projection lasts about an hour, and longevity is six to eight hours (six in my case). After that, it fades and sits right on the skin. Ideal for any occasion; in my opinion, it’s the typical office and professional suit perfume. It’s noticeable but not overpowering. Its main use is daytime and in all seasons—a true all-rounder. It could work at night, but I wouldn’t recommend it, though everyone should use it as they please. In summary, an herbal and citrus fragrance for any moment or season, day or night, that will get you compliments. Cheers.
Stop! Don’t miss this—it will save you a fortune 🛑 If you like vintage versions of D&G Pour Homme, Fierce, Montblanc Legend Intense, or Percival de Marly but can’t afford the crazy prices, Tous Man Intense is the best budget alternative. A hidden gem at a ridiculous price. At first, it smells like a mall store, like Hollister: youthful, fresh, and clean, with a slightly old-school base from the oak moss that gives it character without making it feel dated. Regarding the florals: • The orange blossom adds a soft, white, slightly sweet, and creamy scent—a clean feeling without being soapy, very masculine. • The neroli is greener, more citrusy, and bitter, giving it that “spicy” and vibrant touch that lifts the blend. It never smells feminine; instead, it’s fresh and elegant. Overall, it’s a spiced citrus with a subtle sweet note, very well balanced. 📅 Wear it all year 💼 Perfect for the office – 👕 Casual outings – 🏋️♂️ Even at the gym ⸻ ⚠️ The downsides: • The opening is very alcoholic, like disinfectant, but it lasts only a few seconds. • If you wear it daily, it can become linear and predictable. ⸻ Despite that, for the price and performance, it earns praise and never fails. A low-cost diamond that smells like something much more expensive. Don’t underestimate it. Hidden quality in a bottle almost no one looks at!
