At first glance, it’s that soft, inoffensive, yet pleasant neroli cologne. The problem is that it’s hard to justify the price based on what it ultimately turns out to be.
As the previous reviewer said, at first it seems like that typical fresh orange blossom cologne, and I agree. But I loved it for two reasons that make it unique. First, the myrtle gives it a freshness and originality that set it apart. Second, it settles on a hay base that adds a wild, dry-field tone, but refreshed by the flowers, with very original and beautiful nuances. It’s true that its longevity is minimal, not its quality. If you find it at a good price, it’s a safe blind buy.
On my skin, it barely lasts two hours—neither I nor anyone else notices it. The orange blossom and bergamot really stand out. It’s super fresh, that typical clean, soapy scent. Even though it smells good, I wouldn’t buy it first because, given the price, I’d rather spend it on other perfumes that last longer.
Le Temps des Rêves starts with that rich, fresh neroli everyone knows—very common at first. But then it turns things around: it gains a curious aromatic touch with camphor and moss, pleasant and balanced. Myrtle adds that freshness without veering into marine or aquatic territory. It’s not the perfect neroli, but it’s among the best. I prefer others for being more different, but this has a distinctive note I like. It’s easy to wear and feels more masculine than unisex. Every skin is different, so it’s worth trying to make sure it’s not just another perfume and that the longevity is acceptable. Rating: 7.5/10. Tested with an official sample.
