Hanbury is a bit melancholic: it starts with bitter oranges, sweetened by honey and a soapy touch of mimosa. Then the citrus fades, leaving a honeyed and floral scent. Sometimes it smells like a kids’ cologne, like Nenuco, but sweeter. It ends creamy and at its sweetest point, an excellent perfume. The performance is poor; it doesn’t project much, but it lasts well on the skin. I see it as unisex, maybe leaning more feminine. Ideal for mild weather, but works for any season. It smells very natural and pleasant, something to be grateful for. The downside is that it doesn’t last long and it’s hard to find cheap.
