Electimuss Aurora is decent, but it feels like a repeat of the same formula. It smells like Portrait of a Lady mixed with L’Homme À la Rose by Kurkdjian: heavy on the rose with oud and saffron. The oud kicks in after a few minutes, adding warmth. While it’s unisex, I lean towards it being a bit more feminine. It works for day or night, as long as it’s not too hot.
The name sounds like a movie, but the scent feels decades old. Nowadays, it makes sense because rose isn’t used the same way, and saffron dares not to be intense for fear of not being liked. Some might say it smells like an older, charismatic, and ‘dangerous’ woman. I think it’s unisex for men who aren’t afraid of rose. It’s not a sweet or musky rose&oud; it’s a ‘dark’ rose with more personality than Toy Boy. I wish it lasted longer and projected more to make an impression, but like this house, the sillage is light, though it sits decently on the skin.
Another typical rose and oud blend. Rose dominates with patchouli and musk at the start. Minutes later, the oud emerges, smelling soapy and elegant—more for daytime, feminine, and casual. Projection is moderate; I’d give it a 6/10.
