Descripción
Fruit de La Créativité by Grès is an oriental fragrance for men and women. Launched in 2017, this composition was created by perfumer Alexandra Monet. Its top notes of raspberry, saffron, and bergamot provide a vibrant opening; the heart reveals a harmony of rose, iris root, and cedar; while the base settles on leather, musk, and coffee.

No doubt, it’s rare to see reviews in almost no country. Forget unisex; I bought it out of curiosity and it’s for women. It’s refined, with incredible quality. It opens with forest berries, fresh and sweet, soft. The coffee isn’t roasted bean coffee; it’s green, medium-roasted, sour, and interesting, all wrapped in forest berries, a zigzagging red rose, and a shy saffron. The leather isn’t Ferrari leather; it’s like opening a new box of patent leather shoes, sweet and soft. It’s a new work, elegant, with personality. Ideal for fresh summer afternoons or autumnal nights, for a sophisticated lady. Mental blend: 40% Van Cleef Rubí, 30% Bvlgari Rose Essentielle, 30% Chanel Chance, and touches of D&G Pour Femme. Quality 9, bottle 7, trail 8.5, originality 9. It’s timeless. Two sprays last 8 to 12 hours, an aromatic bubble. Apply sparingly to avoid overwhelming.
A masterpiece, a great success by the house Gres. On my skin, the longevity is incredible, lasting over 10 hours. The opening is sparkling, sober, with fruity notes, spices, and a touch of talc. The dry down is very original, unlike anything I know. The trail has a boozy nuance, neither synthetic nor nauseating; it’s exquisite, a sweet and spicy leather that you want to keep smelling. It’s warm, ideal for cold times or fresh summer evenings. It breaks away from current sweet trends. Highly recommended for its originality and performance.
I don’t know much about notes, but I enjoy scents that are new, fresh, elegant, and sensual. I can be a bit picky. I was gifted ‘Fruit de La Créativité’ and initially thought it was for men—very dated. But in minutes, surprise! Everything changed. It’s warm, strong, genuine, unpretentious, and elegant. It makes me feel secure—can a perfume do that? Everyone perceives it differently. I would never have bought it, but now it stays on my vanity. Literally, it was a gift. Just apply a little, no need to overdo it.
Hi! I was pleasantly surprised by this wonderful perfume; it really makes a difference: it has presence, smells luxurious, and is totally timeless. I consider it suitable for any age and gender, mainly for those who appreciate scents with personality. I admit I had doubts about the leather note, but it’s so well-executed that I found it fantastic, even catching a hint of tobacco. Those intense notes of raspberry, rose, and woods reminded me of some Gucci scents, though it definitely doesn’t owe them anything. Would I buy it again? Absolutely! It’s staying in my collection. The price-to-quality ratio is excellent. In my country (Chile), I can get 100ml for just $14,990. Highly recommend for autumn-spring!
The opening is… awful! I detect a very sharp, heavy leather with a spicy, nose-irritating sensation that I hate. But… after 15 minutes, the opening settles and softens, revealing a more pleasant floral scent. The intensity gives way to something much finer and more wearable. I wouldn’t buy it blind just because of that strong opening. It won’t be a favorite; it’s affordable, and if you can survive the opening, you get a normal, simple daily scent. Longevity and projection, after the strong opening, are moderate.
It smells like something familiar but unpleasant at first; I don’t know what, but I’ll give it more chances. 24/10/22 EDIT: I found its perfect spot. Spring, neither cold nor hot, warm and fresh. It opens wonderfully with unusual fruity and spicy notes, lasting 20-30 minutes. Then it surprises with a well-crafted sweet chocolate, a delight for sweet-tooths. Afterwards, raspberries appear with roses and a negligible touch of leather. The saffron is well-executed, elegant, like entering an Indian feast with potent and familiar aromas. Perfect climate: a warm but fresh day, ideal for spring. It lasts about 7-8 hours, the last 3 hours close to the skin. Don’t use it in much heat (disappears in 15 mins) or much cold (lasts 4-5 hours smelling of ripe fruit about to rot at the start).
It smells familiar but unpleasant; I can’t quite put my finger on what, but I don’t like it. I’ll give it more chances before dismissing it based on the first impression. 24/10/22 EDITED: After searching for the perfect moment, I found it: warm yet fresh spring days. It opens wonderfully with unusual but well-blended fruity and spicy top notes, lasting 20-30 minutes. Then it surprises with a sweet, well-crafted chocolate, a treat for chocolate lovers. Later, the raspberries appear alongside roses and a minimal leather note. The saffron is well-executed, interesting, and elegant, like stepping into a spicy Indian feast with potent, familiar aromas. Perfect climate: warm but fresh, ideal for spring. Longevity is good, about 7-8 hours, with the last 3 hours close to the skin. Not recommended in intense heat (disappears in 15 mins) or extreme cold (lasts 4-5 hours smelling weird, like overripe fruit about to rot, at least for the first 15 mins). After that, it becomes bearable.
Well, I really wanted to love this perfume. Two months ago I read reviews and convinced myself I’d love it, especially for the elegant leather. Today, on a semi-spring day at 24 degrees, I went to get it at 2 PM. Without perfume, I wanted to feel its puffs. The opening is wonderful: dark, boozy, woody, leather. I thought: yes, real perfumery! But in a minute that adult burst disappeared, leaving a sweet floral/creamy sweetness that isn’t elegant, reminiscent of Ted Lapidus’s Orissima, one I had to gift away. I expected raspberry, leather, woods, elegance, something like Black Perfecto PRN, but no. Only a generic, loud sweetness remains close to the skin. I’ll try again tonight. EDIT: I’ve been using it for three days with low temperatures and no sun. The perception changes, but I understood that the loud sweetness of the saffron/rose blend isn’t for me. I’m a fan of rose/leather and rose/oud; there’s balance and depth. That ‘sweet Arab’ nuance loses the charm. It doesn’t smell niche; it’s a different proposal based on old-school elegance, only in the opening. I expected raspberry like in Hot Couture and rose/leather like in Black Perfecto, but no. Not even leather like Bottega Veneta. It’s interesting and I’ll give it a chance for winter. I agree that it lacks wood to give depth and coolness; it reminded me of perfumes in pretty bottles but sweet to the point of being nauseating, that note clashes, I think it’s the saffron. EDIT (8 months later): The longest review of my life about a perfume that isn’t a favorite, but it’s my duty to inform that it changes with temperature. Today, a cold rainy winter night, it feels delicious. Juicy raspberry and a background of sweet, gentle leather win. The ensemble is sweet, but when moving, it feels fresh, airy, and elegant. The saffron and loud notes grow with heat. If you intend to buy it, use it on cold nights, with sweaters, coats, or jackets; that’s its ideal moment.
I wanted to love this perfume. I heard positive reviews and convinced myself I’d adore its notes, especially the elegant leather. Today, on a sunny 24-degree day, I tested it without any other fragrance to get a true read. The opening is wonderful: dark, boozy, woody, and leathery. But within a minute, it vanishes, leaving behind a generic, loud floral/creamy sweetness that feels nothing like the elegance I hoped for—it reminds me of Ted Lapidus’ Orissima, another scent I wanted to love. I expected raspberry, leather, woods, and elegance; Black Perfecto PRN is none of those things. It’s just a loud, generic sweetness right on the skin. I tried again tonight in the cold after two days of sun, and it changed drastically. I realized that loud saffron/rose sweetness isn’t for me. I’m a fan of rose/leather or rose/oud because they balance each other and add depth. That cloying ‘Arabian’ sweetness kills the charm. It doesn’t smell niche to me. It’s interesting, and I’ll give it a shot in winter. I agree it lacks wood to cool down the blend; it reminded me of overly sweet Arab perfumes. I wanted the raspberry from Hot Couture and the rose/leather mix from Black Perfecto, but I didn’t get either. Or the leather from Bottega Veneta… less so. Still, it’s interesting and worth a try in winter. EDITED (8 months later): This is the longest review I’ve ever written about a non-favorite scent, but it’s my duty to report that it changes drastically with temperature. Today, on a cold, rainy winter night, it smells delicious: juicy raspberry and a sweet, pleasant leather base take over. The blend is sweet, but when it moves, it feels fresh, airy, and elegant. Definitely, the loud saffron notes grow with heat. If you plan to buy it, wear it on cold nights with sweaters, coats, or blazers; that’s its ideal moment.
A blind buy that disappointed me greatly after reading positive comments. I expected an elegant perfume with well-crafted notes, but I found a nauseating leather smell, like an old bag. I only distinguish that note and nothing else. It will go to the trash without remedy.
Bought blind and was incredibly disappointed after reading positive reviews. I expected something elegant with well-crafted notes, but instead found a nauseating leather scent, like an old handbag. I only detect that note and nothing else. It’s going straight to the trash.
I adore the raspberry, but I hate synthetic air freshener or caramel notes. Finally, a notable raspberry that doesn’t feel synthetic, lasting almost all day while fading gently alongside the rose to reveal a clean, juicy cedar and leather. Maybe the opening is a bit ‘feminine’ (or maybe that’s my bias), but as it evolves, I feel confident wearing something excellently crafted, different, and unisex. They say the projection is great, and on my skin, the longevity is beyond excellent.
A complicated fragrance: friendly notes, but the overall effect is atomic. On my skin, the fruits and sweetness disappear, leaving an intense cedar that resembles oud and turns bitter with vehemence. It has excellent performance, is challenging, and has a vintage touch. It’s not one of my favorites, but I want to give it more chances to win me over.
I absolutely love it. It wasn’t love at first spray; at first, I smelled a lot of alcohol and something very masculine, with no coffee or sweet raspberry. After 10 minutes, I started to enjoy it: raspberry with sweet, creamy talc, like freshly cut berries in a velvet pocket. Over time, the raspberry stays refined from start to finish, teaching flashy perfumes a lesson. Two years later, I finally found the coffee at the base, under the leather, almost imperceptible but essential. It makes me feel different and elegant, though for me, ‘refined’ is the key—it’s something that comes from my DNA. In Chile, it’s only sold by wholesalers, so I’m worried I won’t always have it. It’s the only one that makes me feel I can’t be without it.
I love it. It wasn’t love at first spray; at first, I felt a lot of alcohol and something very masculine, without the coffee or raspberry I expected. After 10 minutes, I started to like it: raspberry with sweet talc, soft and almost creamy. The idea of freshly cut raspberries in a gamulán pocket stuck with me. Today, two years later, other ideas come to mind: the raspberry is present from start to finish, refined, giving a lesson in good taste compared to loud raspberries. I thought there was no coffee, but today I found it, at the bottom, covered by the leather, almost imperceptible but necessary. It motivated me to review it. In Chile, it’s only sold in bulk; I worry about running out, it’s the only one that makes me feel that need to not be without it. I smell different, not just elegant, but refined: refinement is in the DNA, elegance is learned.
At first, it’s a real raspberry, then saffron and bergamot appear, with the bergamot fading quickly. I can’t find the rose, but I do detect slightly powdery cedar from the lily root. Finally, an elegant leather, nothing aggressive, with that coffee I love. I applied it four hours ago and it still has legs. It’s more potent than Extreme Pureté, with projection especially while the raspberry is active, about three hours. I find it precious and am glad I bought both Extreme and this blind. I hope when Etat de Grace arrives, I’ll like it as much as the others.
Starts with a real raspberry, then saffron and bergamot kick in quickly. I don’t detect the rose, but I do smell dusty cedar with a lily-of-the-valley root base. Elegant finish with soft leather and that coffee note I love. I’ve worn it for four hours and it’s still going strong. More powerful than Extreme Pureté, with notable projection while the raspberry lasts (about 3 hours). Gorgeous; I’m glad I bought blind for both this and the other. Hoping it turns out just as good as Etat de Grace when it arrives.
Watch out, this isn’t for everyone: an exotic blend of rose, oud, and saffron. The opening is sparkling and powerful with fruits and spices. On the skin, green aromatic coffee takes over with a boozy, sweet-spiced leather halo. As it dries down, the wood steps up to give it a unique, sober touch. Sillage and longevity: 10/10. 100% original, don’t buy blind without testing first.
