I tried this years ago, and honestly, I don’t detect the oakmoss I love so much, though the rest of the previous review fits perfectly. If you can grab it for under 20 euros, it’s worth a blind buy because I don’t think it’s worth more. My projection and longevity were weak, and the scent is a bit different, but if you like citrus and aromatic notes, you’ll definitely fall in love. Au revoir.

I used it years ago when it first came out and have nothing to add to the previous review; I agree with everything about the scent and the location. The only difference is that I don’t smell or perceive the oakmoss, which is my favorite. If you find it for 20 euros or less, it’s a good blind buy to try (I don’t think it’s worth more), since on my skin the projection and longevity were weak. It’s a different scent, but if you like citrus and aromatic notes, you’ll probably love it. Au revoir.

  3. Armandutti, what they called Armand Lasauca at home, founded Massimo Dutti in Tarrasa in 1985 to make men’s fashion and, why not, sound Italian. In 1995, INDITEX took it over. My bottle of Absolute has no date, but it smells like pre-IFRA musk and oakmoss—those that gave an animalic, earthy touch. It starts with a blend of skin and citrus, a dense cardamom joining bitter orange to create a strange, heavy, sensual vibe. It’s not an easy opening; it evolves wildly, mixing rosemary, thyme, myrrh, and cilantro, evoking spiced game stews where gourmand and rustic notes meet. It keeps evolving on its own, not made to please immediately, but for those addicted to the original and the risky. Hard to classify, maybe a thick, serious chypre without those bright floral or fruity touches. Over time, dirty animalic musks and pre-dried oakmoss emerge, smelling of wood and dry grass. Finally, it becomes soapy and soft with a floral vetiver touch. It has moderate longevity and projection; a classic but very personal and unusual men’s fragrance.
