  • Flowerbomb Midnight by Victor and Rolf: its translation is Midnight Floral Bomb. I tried it with high expectations thanks to its predecessor and was fascinated: it’s exquisite, cheerful, sophisticated, and elegant without being cloying. Compared to the original, it lacks patchouli, making it softer and sweeter. Launched in 2019, its opening is sparkling with blackberry and pomegranate, followed by jasmine and peony. It reminds me of the romantic scent of my city’s gardens at night. The dry-down is delicious with vanilla and white musk that lingers; I detect woody tones that add a fabulous dimension, almost like a light, sweet incense. Charming! I wear it in spring and summer for romantic outings or dinners. Moderate sillage, lasts about six hours. The woody musk rounds everything out, elevating the fruitiness to be feminine and mysterious. I loved it.

  • Sharlette

A beautiful scent that brings to mind the streets of my hometown and their night gardens. It reminds me of Narciso Rodríguez’s For Her EDT Black, but that one wins on sillage and longevity. The Flowerbomb is weak at first: it blasts out like a bomb, but after two hours the sillage disappears, and in less than four hours there’s no trace left, not even close-to-the-skin. Unbelievable that it lasts nothing with that price tag.

A beautiful scent that brings to mind the streets of my hometown and its night gardens. Reminds me of Narciso Rodriguez’s For Her EDT Black, but that one wins on sillage and longevity. Flowerbomb is weak at first: it comes out strong, like a bomb, but after two hours the trail disappears, and in less than four hours there’s no trace left, not even close to the skin. Unbelievable that it lasts nothing at that price.

  • Elegant and romantic. Midnight opens with a burst of peony and sweet blackberry before yielding to moss. On my skin, the transition is quick: the flowers fade until only the musky base remains. Soft and charming, less heavy than the name suggests, yet subtle and captivating. Very different from the original Flowerbomb. 6.5/10

  • I love it! I’m head over heels for this perfume. I discovered it before Christmas and it was my gift. My skin chemistry is weird, but this is perfect: it smells the same from start to finish, which I personally like. It has one catch: I adore it, it blasts out like a bomb at first, but then it softens quickly, and I wish that initial potency lasted longer, even if it feels heavy to others. The issue is the sillage, its weakest point for the price: I feel there’s very little of it. But the longevity is incredible! After almost 24 hours, I can still smell it right up against my skin, and sometimes when I move, I catch a whiff behind my ears (I spray on each ear and my wrists—I know it’s not the right way to do it, but I can’t help it). So, even though it’s close-to-the-skin, on me it has amazing longevity.

  • I love it! I’m in love with this perfume. I discovered it just before Christmas and it was my gift. My pH is quite unusual, but this perfume is perfect. On my skin, it smells practically the same from start to finish, which I personally like. It has a ‘but’ for me: I love it, yes, it starts out like a bomb, literally, but it quickly softens and I wish that potency would last longer, although others might find it heavy. The ‘but’ is the sillage, its weakest point, especially considering the price. I have the feeling it has very little, but the longevity is incredible. After almost 24 hours, I can still perceive it close to the skin and sometimes it comes from the scent behind my ears (I sprayed behind each one and another on a wrist rubbing the other, I know it’s not done, but I can’t help it). So, even if it’s just close to the skin, on me I can say it has very good longevity.

  • I received a sample yesterday and I’m still testing it. It brings me the sensation of having smelled something similar, but I don’t know what. At times I think of Tresor la Nuit or Tresor Midnight Rose; at others, Amor Amor Mon Parfum du soir in a fresher version. I also wonder if it doesn’t remind me a bit of the original Flowerbomb, which would make sense, but it definitely doesn’t resemble the family founder much. It’s interesting that it doesn’t declare patchouli (if it did, it would be in its earthy and citrusy facet, not balsamic or sweet), so I think the earthiness I perceive is an effect of the vanilla and musk, although I do note a certain sweet, fresh darkness from the blackcurrants at the beginning. I like it a lot; I, who am not a huge fan of gourmands, would wear it. I’ve worn it for an hour. The intensity is medium. Now I notice the musky base more and it brings me memories of the silkiness of Narciso Rodríguez. The blackcurrants aren’t felt as much anymore. Two hours later, I went to hang my clothes with the perfume on my arm, and when I moved it, I could feel it without getting close, but not very obviously (like an Orchid Soleil that smacks you in the face), but rather like an ethereal, elegant, and beautiful aura. Now it reminds me of the dry down of Jimmy Choo, but more vanilla. It’s a warm morning, not scorching or cold. I’m starting to understand the other reviews: for the price, it doesn’t seem to have good longevity (although when smelling it close after several sprays, it seems to saturate quickly, which can be misleading). It is there and you can feel it, but it doesn’t have great projection. You can definitely tell the ingredients are high quality and the scent is good, but the price makes you think twice. I put it on at 7 AM and by 4 PM it’s only felt close to the skin, but it’s there, fully distinguishable. The thing is, if you sniff it several times in a row, you stop feeling it, but it’s there. Next day: I tested it again on my wrist. What a delight this vanilla that lingers on the skin! Luminous, slightly fruity, with the texture of musk. It’s driving me crazy! I confirm that on my skin, the longevity is very good, 7-8 hours projecting, a bit more close to the skin, 3-4 hours more.

  • MissOlores

Nice perfume, not as powerful as it appears with its black casing; in fact, it stays quite soft, but it’s very long-lasting on my skin. The blackcurrants and jasmine are perceived in a delicious way. The day I buy a Flowerbomb, it will definitely be this one without a doubt.

  • I bought it blind because it was on sale during Black Friday; I love the original Flowerbomb and I deserved it for working hard. I have no regrets, it arrived today and I love it. At first, I noticed the blackcurrants, soft, fruity, and delicious. It’s one of those perfumes that makes you think. I liked it a lot, not enough to replace my favorite, but it’s a quality contender. It’s delicate and sophisticated. I love it, and the packaging too. Beautiful.

  • I think this is the Flowerbomb flanker I’ve liked the most. Despite its name, it’s perfect for daytime and spring/summer. Unlike the original, it’s not loud or explosive, but rather discreet and coquettish, especially in its dry down which is a warm, subtle vanilla. At first, you feel the fruits, but I notice some spice and flowers in the background. It’s a charming, feminine blend that, like all Flowerbombs, oozes elegance. Longevity is medium, about 6 hours with the last trace fading, and the sillage is soft to medium; I think you have to get close to notice it. I’ll test it more on clothes. Edit: I sprayed it on a light jacket and 4 days later, the scent is still perceptible.

At first, you smell the fruits, but I notice a slight spice and floral notes in the background. It’s a charming and feminine blend that, like all Flowerbomb, oozes elegance and is worth the price. Medium longevity, about six hours with the last bit close-to-the-skin, and soft-to-medium sillage; I think you have to get close to notice it. I’ll try wearing more on my clothes. Edit: I sprayed it on a light jacket, and four days later, the scent is still detectable.

  • Gourmand Bottle

There’s one characteristic nobody mentions: it smells vintage. Even though it’s fruity, that vintage touch stands out above everything else. It was a blind buy after reading many reviews and watching videos, but no one mentioned this. Had I known, I wouldn’t have bought it.

  • I bought it blind knowing Flowerbomb EDP and Ruby Orchid, and I have no regrets. I feel it’s a more modern version and I prefer it, as it lacks patchouli and has that blackcurrant fruity opening (it reminds me of the beginning of Armani Si, though they aren’t similar). It’s a sweet floral with a fruity opening. It keeps the DNA of the original, just not as powerful. My favorite remains Ruby Orchid (more vanilla, perfect for spring/summer), but I love this one: hyper-feminine, feels expensive, and versatile. It has moderate projection and lasts 6 hours on my skin (the last trace fading) and then lingers softly as a musk for a few more hours. I wish the sillage were better for the price. I don’t think it’s for anyone under 25; it’s a straightforward floral, far from the gourmand trend. It’s hard to find in Argentina, I hope it’s not discontinued. I wouldn’t buy the original EDP again, but the Midnight version, yes.

  • Perfumadict

Delicate, refined, sophisticated, sensual, and very nocturnal. Addictive! Worth every penny. As the bottle says, I’d wear this on well-dressed nights, whether with a rocker or gala style, always with that femme fatale touch.

  • Perfumadict

Delicate, refined, sophisticated, sensual, and mysterious—very nocturnal. Absolutely addictive! Totally worth it. As the bottle suggests, I’d wear this on dressed-up nights, whether rock chic or formal, but always femme fatale.

  • I was eyeing it for the notes, but since it wasn’t shipping to Argentina, I hesitated to buy it blind. Luckily, I found a decant before taking the risk. The scent is nice but nothing groundbreaking; I thought the pomegranate and night jasmine would create magic, but instead, it’s sweet, musky blackcurrants with a soft floral base. It felt like I’d smelled it a thousand times and it’s very similar to Mon Paris. The longevity was extremely short; there was no trace after 3 hours and the sillage was almost non-existent. Honestly, it’s not worth it.

  • DaviniaTolkien

I’m just here to confirm that even though I own Mon Paris, this smells completely different and I can’t find any resemblance between the two.
