  1. It’s the most summery version of Alien, but you can still tell it’s one of its flankers. At first, it keeps that narcotic white flower scent on the verge of decomposition, with indole, but it’s less invasive and has a tiny bit of creamy lemon. I don’t feel any specific white flower, but rather a mix of jasmine and orange blossom. The dry down is the same as the original (cashmere and abundant amber), but with the extra vanilla and lemon that gives it a gourmand touch. The projection is good, not as invasive as the Alien EdP, but the longevity is equally good. Compared to others in the line, I’d place it between Alien EdT and Alien Extraordinaire. I have the latter, but Sublime appealed to me more because it’s creamier. It’s a feminine and youthful perfume with a flirty touch, suitable for any occasion and pleasant weather, though it might be too dense for very hot summers. Pleasant: 8/10 Interesting: 5/10 Versatile: 7/10 Original: 2/10

  2. It’s the freshest version of Alien, though it remains a recognizable flanker. At first, it smells of narcotic white flowers on the verge of decomposition, with indole, but it’s less invasive and carries a touch of creamy lemon. I don’t detect any specific white flower, but rather a blend of jasmine and orange blossom. The drydown is very similar to the original (cashmere and amber to musk), but with an extra touch of vanilla and lemon that gives it a gourmand vibe. The projection is good, though not as invasive as the EdP; the longevity, however, is just as potent. I’d place it between Alien EdT and Extraordinaire. I already own the latter, but Sublime appealed to me more for being creamier. It’s a very feminine and youthful perfume, with a flirtatious twist, suitable for any occasion and mild weather, though perhaps too dense for the hottest summers. 3. It smells elegant, but reminds me of school glue; despite having white flowers, it’s not my style since I prefer sweet gourmands or real florals. It didn’t seem youthful to me, and I don’t understand its high rating, I guess it’s because of the brand. I don’t hate it, but it’s not my favorite either; I only wear it in serious situations.

  4. This Alien is a chill guy, less intense than the original and super friendly; you can wear it without thinking about how exotic it can be. It’s a bath of radioactive light, luminous and floral with a citrus touch at the beginning. It’s not tropical, it’s radioactive. It doesn’t invade, but it captivates. On my skin, the white flowers linger with vanilla and amber; honestly, it smells like amber and heat. Moderate longevity and a medium-low sillage. I would buy it again: an alien with whom to maintain friendly contact without fear of abduction.

  5. It’s long-lasting without making as much noise as the original Alien, more wearable, intimate, and with good performance. I liked it because during the day it evolves: jasmine, orange blossom, tarragon, vanilla… that prevents you from getting overwhelmed.

Eau Sublime reminds me a lot of the Alien EDT, though with new floral notes that set it slightly apart from the original. It opens very citrusy with lemon and tangerine, which mixes well with the white flowers and classic jasmine. It’s the fresh and juicy version of Alien; it balances the acidity of the fruits with the sweetness of the flowers very well, it’s rich, and being citrusy, it has good performance. Sometimes I spray the EDP and then more Eau Sublime; they complement each other perfectly: the latter is lighter for certain moments, especially in summer. It’s a citrus Alien, with familiar DNA, good fixation, and worth it for those days when you need freshness and energy.

  7. I hate the original Alien, but this one sounds softer to me and I liked it. Over time, I’ll get used to this peculiar scent; I sense lots of vanilla and white amber on my skin, very sophisticated!

  8. Honestly, I expected more. Seeing the notes and knowing Dominique Ropion created it, I didn’t hesitate and bought it blind. I’m not regretting it, but if I had tested it first, I’m sure it wouldn’t be in my collection. It doesn’t resemble the original Alien at all. It has low persistence and sillage. It definitely smells like summer. I’ll keep testing it, but so far, we haven’t fallen in love. EDIT 08/26/22: After years of abandoning it, I decided to give it another chance. I don’t know if my nose is more educated or my skin changed, but now it captivates me a lot. It has good longevity, and after hours, you can feel the DNA of the original Alien, but softened with a slight citrus touch that makes it ideal for summer.

  9. I asked a friend who was traveling to buy it for me, telling her to buy it blind. Actually, I wanted the original, and she brought me this one. I still don’t know exactly how much I like it, but obviously, being an EDT, it has good presence and longevity. It’s one of those fragrances where the more time passes, the more I like it. Let’s say we’re ‘getting to know each other’.

  11. Jasmine, tiare flower, and vanilla wrapped in that characteristic alien amber. I love it, no, the next thing.

It’s so similar to the original Alien (that powerful one from before), but with citrus notes and a jasmine that takes more prominence than the traditional amber. It’s the flanker I’ve liked the most, super versatile for day and night, I love it. Now that I received it as a birthday gift, I can finally enjoy it, and it has so much value since the guy I loved gave it to me. Alien Eau Sublime, our love story will be infinite, little sparkler.

  15. Currently testing it out. Being a Mugler, it smells different and isn’t their typical vibe. At first, it gave me a slightly salty, figgy scent, similar to Womanity, but then the citrus notes came out, followed quickly by heliotrope. I love those solar notes that give the brand’s perfumes such an interesting twist. It dries down floral with jasmine and vanilla. Overall, it’s soft with moderate sillage, feminine, and I think most people will like it, though not as much as Angel or Alien.

  17. I was gifted this and it’s not really my style, but since it’s exclusive and hard to find in Argentina, I gave it a try. Every time I wear it, I like it more, even though I prefer fruity scents; here, the cashmere dominates. Although it’s a wood note, it gives an intense retro floral sensation. The vanilla (which is soft on my skin) tames that intensity. There’s a barely perceptible citrus touch in the dry down. To me, it’s like those old intense florals, but creamier and more modern. Despite the intensity, it’s not overwhelming and lasts all day on my skin.
