  1. Looking for the perfect citrus scent, and @Troylo’s review gave me the push I needed. What can you expect from a ‘footballer fragrance’ by a top-tier perfumer like Natalie Lorson at a bargain price? The previous description fits: very balanced, not overpowering, versatile, and with good performance. The fact that it’s affordable adds an elegant touch you wouldn’t expect. It’s neither original nor different, and honestly, it doesn’t miss a beat. Decent quality, not sublime, but there are houses charging double without blinking. Part of the addiction is finding gems among the costume jewelry; it gives you a real buzz. It’s not the perfect citrus, but I’m glad to have discovered it. I’ll keep it as a collection gem.

  2. I’m also hunting for that perfect citrus scent 😉 @Troylo’s review (thanks, by the way) sparked my curiosity: what to expect from a famous footballer’s perfume, by a perfumer like Natalie Lorson, in the ‘budget’ section? Well, @Troylo describes it perfectly. I’d add that it’s very balanced, not overpowering, versatile, and all-rounder. Good performance. Given the price, it’s almost awkward to say it’s elegant, but it is. It’s neither original nor different, but it lacks nothing. The quality is correct, not sublime, but there are houses selling the same thing ten times more without blinking. Part of the blame for this perfume addiction lies in these discoveries. What a buzz finding a gem among so much costume jewelry. It’s not the perfect citrus, but I’m happy to have met it. Let’s call it a ‘little gem’. I suspect it’ll stay in the collection.

  3. Beyond Forever by David Beckham was a total hit. Like all his fragrances, I bought it blind without being able to test it in-store, but I nailed it this time. It’s an herbal EDT that opens with a citrus touch of bergamot and a hint of spicy nutmeg. I love its heart for that freshness, softness, and green vibe that reminds me of Pomellato 67, surely because of that fern note. The best part is its dry down: a very pleasant soapy scent with a sparkling undertone from the violets. It reminds me of the end of Pharrell Williams’ Girl, with that dark, mature gel-like soap feel. Ideal for any climate, cold or hot. If you’re looking for a cheap EDT with an incredible soapy dry down, this is the one.

It’s an herbal EDT where the citrus bergamota shines at the start with a touch of spicy nutmeg. I love the heart for its freshness, softness, and green notes that remind me of Pomellato 67, probably due to that fern note.
