Beaver Zoologist is a leathery, animalic, smoky, and woody fragrance. At first, it smells of musk and leather—nothing fresh or warm, but with an immediate animal touch. Over time, it gets dirtier thanks to the castoreum and musk, gaining a smoky nuance. After two hours, it becomes less harsh and more aromatic, featuring vanilla and iris, though the animal vibe remains. It has artistic value because I know nothing similar, but it’s hard to recommend; the scent doesn’t appeal to me (at least not personally). I’m not sure when to wear it because I can’t picture myself in it, and the opening isn’t friendly: you have to wait for it to mellow out. That’s why I think it’s better for personal use. The longevity was good, lasting a solid 8 hours. It’s not for blind buys; it’s a challenge, and honestly, I prefer to work my way around that challenge :D.

I’m not sure in what situations to wear it because I can’t see myself in it. The opening isn’t very friendly and you have to wait for it to become more wearable, so I think it’s better for personal use. The longevity wasn’t bad, lasting a good 8 hours.
