  Vanilla Moorea is a gorgeous fragrance for summer and spring, perfect for feeling cheerful, fresh, and sensually sweetened. It opens with a sublime intensity: Brazilian orange bursts forth with a freshness that chills your arm instantly, offering a very realistic fruity quality. Up until now, it smells like any impeccable cologne on the market, with no further expectations. But as minutes pass, the Paraguayan petit grain adds a spectacular floral note, intensifying the scent while losing some of that initial freshness, though still maintaining that idyllic summer vibe. After twenty minutes on the skin, the beautiful and distinguished Tahitian vanilla emerges: an aphrodisiac and sensual beauty that shows natural sweetness in bursts, with some tiny smoky vanilla accents. By the one-hour mark, it gains body and leaves a fragrance that still oozes its fruity side, with a sweet component noticeable especially in the skin’s base; it’s a treat for the fiercest summer moments. It’s not an apotheotic vanillin, but a real vanilla that offers sensuality along with joviality and freshness. Bought on sale, it’s a great option: it’s not as luxuriously sensual as Sicily’s Mandorlo, but it is sweet, and it comes closer to Lolita Lempicka’s Aime in its opening, though with orange instead of lime and less karstic character. Its trail is medium and fades after two hours. Obviously, it reminds one of a native from Polynesia, making its name evoke Moorea Island from this paradisiacal archipelago in the South Pacific.
