Oud Al Sahraa by Parfums Berdoues is an oriental woody fragrance for men and women. Launched in 2015, this composition was created by perfumer Christian Vermorel. The top note features the freshness of Italian mandarin, which gives way to the heart note of myrrh, before settling into the warm and enveloping base note of oud wood.

My brain went into standby mode—was there going to be more? Well, it calmed down and I can write now. It’s a very sparkly opening that almost smells of licorice, then it seems like it’s going to be synthetic, but no, it retreats into myrrh, lots of gummy myrrh with smoky and slightly tight notes. On my skin, it’s not as amber as one might expect; something spicy keeps it from settling down, but it fits. More in the oud, I’d say this perfume is centered around a young, cheerful, and dancing myrrh. A very kind and aquatic oud. In the end, it becomes rounder but remains almost clean. Pleasant and indifferent.
