  What a weird name for a perfume… 51 Pour femme? Yes. Was it named that because the Roja boutique is at 51 Burlington Arcade in London? Everything makes sense. The opening: a vanilla/benzoin base with a very elegant, soft floral load (gardenia, lily, rose, lily root, neroli, orange blossom, jasmine, violet leaves) decorated with a raspberry note. It’s sensual and very feminine, I’d say. I tried it and liked it, but I think it would stand out more on a woman—and honestly, it’s definitely a woman’s fragrance. My mom loved it; it’s linear and has great performance. Excellent for daytime wear when you’re dressed up. Is it mature? No. It feels like a real woman’s perfume, not a 20-year-old girl’s. The raspberry adds a playful touch without being cloying or scandalous. Remember, it’s Roja, and refinement is their signature. If you’re looking to debut in this English luxury brand, it’s hard to overlook this fantastic option. Don’t confuse it with the EDP; I’m talking about the ‘Parfum’. How to tell the difference? Parfums have Swarovski crystals on the cap, while EDPs have metal caps with facets that look like crystals but are just metal. $500? Yes, and worth every penny. Great perfume.

  This perfume goes way beyond a simple ode to white flowers. Roja shines here, blending ingredients into an unbeatable composition for lovers of sweet florals: floral (gardenia, ylang-ylang, iris), vanilla, fruity (raspberry), and woody (sandalwood) in perfect balance. In my opinion, it’s cheerful, elegant, and versatile. Ideal for the shoulder seasons. It feels nothing cheap—not the bottle’s price, nor the scent’s character.
