Descripción

Pleats Please L'Eau by Issey Miyake is a floral musky woody fragrance for women. Launched in 2013, this olfactory composition was created by perfumer Aurélien Guichard. The fragrance pyramid opens with a top note of wild rose, giving way to a heart of neroli, Bulgarian rose, and pink pepper. The trail settles on a base of white musk, cedar, and patchouli.

  • Delicious and special for summer, very cool and light. I recommend it, though it’s always different on each skin, so always test before buying.

  • Soft yet long-lasting. Fresh, slightly light and citrusy. It feels like a freshly watered rose.

  • Soft yet lasting, fresh and light with citrus notes. It feels like a rose just bathed in water.

  • Delicious, citrusy, slightly sweet, a bit powdery. It doesn’t have a great sillage but it’s very long-lasting.

A fresh rose, very green, with lots of pepper. I love wearing it in spring rain; it has an almost aquatic freshness. But in dry heat, it can tickle the nose and become very dry. It’s phenomenal in humid climates.

I bought it recently this summer in San Juan, right in the middle of winter… warm and lovely days. I got to try it on there. It’s clean, not as fresh as some say. My husband thought it was ‘creamy,’ and yes, after that fresh but subtle floral opening, bordering on shy, it evolves into a very rich creaminess, though nothing groundbreaking. Is it good? No. Is it bad? Not really.

  • Fresh, very soft and pleasant, cheerful. It’s simplicity and freshness for daytime. Notes of fresh flowers, something citrusy, green leaves, and I even sense a bit of cactus. Sophisticatedly fresh.

Smells like roses and freshly cut grass. I wear it a lot in spring, on those breezy days that aren’t too hot or cold. It smells like a garden just after watering: very fresh, very green, very floral, with a powdery dry-down and a clean scent. Because it’s excessively floral and green, it’s not one of my favorites; some days I love it, others not so much, but it stays in my collection.

Smells like roses and freshly cut grass. I wear it a lot in spring, on those windy days that aren’t too cold or hot. It smells like a watered garden—very fresh, green, and floral, with a musky dry-down. Clean scent. Because it’s so floral and green, it’s not my absolute favorite; I love it some days and not so much others, but it stays in my collection.

  • I detect citrus notes with a ‘green’ rose that fades quickly, leaving behind a sober, dry citrus trail. At the end, it smells like clean, distinguished soap. Sometimes I don’t notice it until I move, and suddenly it’s there—a pleasant aroma that makes me turn my head to see where it’s coming from, only to realize it’s me. Good longevity; I can still smell it on my skin the next day.

  • A youthful, carefree floral scent, though a bit boring and it doesn’t last long. A splash would be better.
