Bought it blind and it didn’t click at first; it smelled like incense, which isn’t even listed in the notes. After about 5 minutes, I started liking it more, though it’s still a strange scent for me. I’d recommend it to women 25 and up—it doesn’t feel youthful to me.
Imari Seduction is a creamy orchid mixed with tart purple fruits; it’s beautiful and seductive, nothing juvenile. It lasts 5 to 6 hours with good projection and offers great value for money in Latin America. It didn’t smell exactly like its siblings or the Far Away variants to me, but you can definitely tell it’s part of the Imari family. I don’t mind wearing it alongside Corset, Classic, and Fantasy; I enjoy them all. It’s versatile for any weather since it’s not overly sweet. 10/10. Ideal for lovers of tart accords.
I’m on an olfactory journey through the Imari fragrances. I’ve had this flanker for a while and added Corset and Rouge yesterday. All three are amazing; while they share notes, on my skin this one is the softest and perhaps the least persistent, but within Avon perfumes, these are the longest-lasting. I detect a strong vanilla vibe: a soft vanilla that gets powdery as it dries down, with a fruity opening and floral notes settling in. I agree that as an Eau de Toilette, they have an imposing presence. On my skin, it’s the most wearable for daytime. It’s very rich; I recommend it. I’d love to try the Elixir and Fantasy, which are no longer available in Argentina.

This version just arrived in Argentina, and after reading ‘Seduction,’ I ordered it without thinking, hoping it would impress me more than Corset. It didn’t. Again, there’s no sillage, and all I smell is plum for the first 5 minutes, followed by the typical Imari floral, a bit of orchid, and an oriental base. It seems like a mix of notes from other lines: plums from Secret Fantasy Midnight, orchids from Rare Flowers, and a base from Sparkling Attitude. Is it pleasant? Yes. Is it outside the norm? No, it’s versatile for any season (maybe less so in winter) and sensual without being extravagant. I use it daily for a sexy girl who doesn’t need to shout it. Is it sweet? Yes, but not cloying or gourmand. I don’t dislike it, but it’s not my favorite. It’s the third Imari I own, and between this, Corset, and Fantasy, I’d stick with Fantasy for longevity, sillage, and notes. Would I buy it again? No. It accentuates the seductive attitude of the wearer but doesn’t create one if they don’t have it. Edited after 2 months of daily use: the longevity and sillage are so low I’ve already used 3/4 of the bottle. I hope to finish it without buying another or gifting it to a friend who likes it.

Imari Elixir is the most seductive—a sweet bomb with a smoky touch that makes it distinct, incredibly rich, and intriguing. Elixir has that mystery and allure expected from a feminine, sensual perfume. I think most women looking for sweet scents would like this. I’d use it more on cool days because it doesn’t last on my skin. At night, I’d have to reapply a lot, though I suspect too many sprays could be overwhelming. In short, it smells great, but it doesn’t blow my mind, and I wish it lasted better.

Good that they distinguished the packaging here. I felt the fragrance changed a lot. The old one was sweet and pleasant; people complimented me because it stood out on my skin. This new packaging version, I don’t know, smells alcoholic and powdery to me. What happened?
