Nathalie Gracia-Cetto was born and raised in Grasse, the world capital of perfume. She began her journey in the world of fragrances with a solid academic foundation, earning a doctorate in pharmacology. Upon discovering her passion for scents, she decided to pursue her dreams at the esteemed Givaudan Perfumery School.
After completing her education at Givaudan, Nathalie started a prolific 20-year career as a perfumer for the company. During that time, she collaborated with high-end brands such as Christian Dior and Burberry; mass-market brands such as Puma; and niche fragrances for Morgane le Fay and Van Cleef & Arpels.
Her talent has been recognized with multiple Fifi Awards. In 2004, she won the Luxe category for her work on Burberry Brit; and the following year she received the Women’s Nouveau Niche award for Burberry Brit Red.
Her interests in music, literature, and photography deeply influence her approach to creating perfumes. These artistic pursuits provide inspiration, resulting in fragrances that emanate expressiveness, clarity, and delicacy. Her creations reflect her philosophy of “le partipris,” focused on crafting expressive aromas that tell a story.
