So gorgeous! It’s beautiful, a bit kitsch, hyper-realistic, and utterly appetizing… it smells like real rose, especially that young rose just budding. Byredo did a fantastic job. Unlike the dusty, crystalline roses of Marly, this one feels natural, innocent, kind, and has a nice acidic edge. The surprise is right at the start (the achieved scent), then it fades into a more generic dry-down, like an expensive body wash—super comfortable to wear. In dry form, it turns citrusy-fruity, like that Garnier gel or that fancy cream I love so much. It’s a flirty, super girlie scent with that authentic, springtime, pristine touch I’m missing in so many rose formulations. Well done, Byredo.
So beautiful! Exquisite, kitsch, hyper-realistic, and appetizing… it’s one of those rose perfumes that actually smells like rose, especially that young rose just budding and not quite fully opened yet. I already owned Pulp and Influencesence from Byredo, but I tried Young Rose and it hooked me instantly. I bought the 50ml to continue my testing. It’s super feminine, enveloping, and leaves a mark; I’ve asked many people what perfume I’m using because it smells so delicious. I know I have a good pH, which also helps, but I never imagined I’d coincide with those specific olfactory notes.
I knew Byredo’s Pulp and Influencesence, but I tried Young Rose, loved it so much, and bought the 50ml to keep testing. It’s feminine, enveloping, and leaves a mark; lots of people ask me what perfume I’m wearing because it smells so good. I know I have a good pH, which helps too, but I never would have guessed or expected to match those specific scent notes.
