  • Smells like coconut and vanilla on overdrive, very Caribbean and potent. The longevity and sillage are brutal; I love it.

  • The bottle caught my eye—it’s very pretty—but when I smelled it, it was like eating a half-melted caramel. Honestly, a very particular fragrance that I didn’t like.

  • It’s powdery coconut and mango wood, a scent unlike any other. It’s one of those love-it-or-hate-it perfumes… my cousin wears it and I love it. Excellent longevity and sillage… very feminine for women who appreciate gourmet tropical scents.

I’d define it more as a fruity floral than a spicy oriental. Sweet mango dominates with a hint of orchid-like florals, even if it’s not listed on the notes. It’s a romantic, light, and non-intrusive fragrance that works great both day and night.

I’d define it more as a fruity floral than a spicy oriental. Sweet mango dominates with a touch of orchid-like florals, even though it’s not listed in the composition. It’s romantic, light, and non-intrusive. It works perfectly day and night.

  • I’ve always loved Hilary, so when she launched a fragrance, I was dying to try it. It didn’t disappoint; it was way better than expected. I pictured something generic for the masses, but it turns out to be exclusive, refined, and unique. It starts with spices and wood, then adds a tropical twist. On skin, it evolves with coconut, vanilla, mango, and wood. One of my favorites—I went through two big bottles and still miss it. Not for everyone; you have to try it before buying. Longevity and sillage are average to good, but it evaporates in direct sunlight. I recommend it for night or cold weather.

  • Decent little perfume. It’s been out of stock for years, but my girlfriend used to wear it and I loved catching her trail: sweet, not gross, with that powdery note that feels refreshing. I wanted to buy it for myself, but I can’t find it in stores anymore. It’s good, pretty, and cheap. Perfect for everyday wear: you won’t wow anyone, but you’ll always smell good without spending a fortune.

  • Decent little perfume. It’s been out for years; my roommate used to wear it and I loved catching its trail: sweet but not overwhelming, powdery yet fresh. I wanted it for myself, but I can’t find it anymore. It’s good, pretty, and cheap. Perfect for daily wear: you won’t turn heads, but you’ll smell great without spending a fortune.

  • Fine and sweet, with a hint of coconut, this perfume is rich and elegant, definitely one of my favorites. It’s not that classic cloying sweet scent that got me tired of Paris Hilton’s Can Can. For night or day, a little on the skin is more than enough. It’s a pity it’s hard to find; they almost don’t sell it anymore. These are scents that shouldn’t disappear. I highly recommend it.

  • I used to wear this as my personal perfume; I don’t know why it smelled like vanilla to me, and I’m surprised it’s not listed as one of its notes; it has something very special.

  • I used to wear it as my signature scent. I don’t know why it smelled like vanilla to me, and I’m surprised it’s not an official note; this perfume has something very special.

  • Mango, mango, and more mango. To me, it seems floral-fruity; mango dominates everything, and when I apply it, I notice some flowers, but I can’t say which ones. It’s a good perfume, but I don’t consider it extraordinary… however, I like it! It’s for women aged 20 to 50 (in my opinion) and can be worn daily. The bottle is very chic and feminine, very pretty. It has a medium-to-heavy trail and heavy longevity. I give it an 8/10.

  • Very common scent, doesn’t even appeal to me. I wouldn’t buy it again. At first, it smells like mango and spices, but on my skin it stands for nothing; everything fades away.

  • A very common scent; it doesn’t say anything to me, and I won’t be buying it again. Mango and spices dominate at first, but on my skin, nothing stands out.

With Love competes against Britney Spears’ Hidden Fantasy and Elizabeth Taylor’s Diamonds and Rubies as undervalued celebrity fragrances (Diamonds and Rubies was created by Sophia Grojsman, who also made Lancôme’s Tresor and Yves Saint Laurent’s Paris, while With Love and Hidden Fantasy are works of Rodrigo Flores-Roux, who has worked for Dolce&Gabbana and Tom Ford… in lines theoretically considered niche). With Love is a spicy oriental with a huge tropical contrast from the mango note. It starts with fresh, sweet mango, but spicy and dry from the spices. Then, the spicy essence gives way to the hegemony of the tropical sweetness of the mango, which will momentarily eclipse the cocobolo wood (it has a hint of coconut drink, which explains the coconut aroma in other reviews). Finally, it’s purely woody with a warm, sweet touch from the lingering amber and mango blossom (in my experience, I didn’t notice musk). With Love is discontinued; for recent buyers, knowledge about Hilary Duff will also be scarce. It’s a versatile option, less ostentatious and better balanced than several proposals from design houses (like any derivative of Miss Dior New by Christian Dior). Despite its name, I don’t see it as romantic personally (though it might appeal to the effort of creation), and although it contrasts with the colorful packaging of its line, its charm has presence. In the intermediate phase, on my skin, it developed a rare hint of Fanta. With Love carries the spicy signature of its creator; although it’s not the most sophisticated fragrance, it’s not lacking in maturity. Acquisition is complex since it’s discontinued, but if you have the chance, try it without fear. Longevity is excellent, and the trail is moderate to low, but it won’t cloy anyone.

With Love overshadows Hidden Fantasy and Diamonds and Rubies as a hidden gem in modern perfumery (remember that Diamonds and Rubies is by Sophia Grojsman, who created Tresor and Paris, while With Love and Hidden Fantasy are by Rodrigo Flores-Roux, a genius who has worked for Dolce&Gabbana and Tom Ford… in lines theoretically considered niche). It’s a spicy oriental with a brutal tropical contrast thanks to the mango. It begins with fresh, sweet, yet spicy and dry mango. Then, the spicy essence gives way to the tropical sweetness of the mango, which momentarily eclipses the cocobolo (which has that coconut beverage nuance that explains the coconut notes in other reviews). Finally, it’s purely woody with a warm, sweet touch from the amber and mango blossom (I didn’t detect musk on my skin). It’s discontinued, and nowadays few know Hilary Duff, but it’s a versatile option, less ostentatious and better balanced than several proposals from major houses (like any Miss Dior New derivative). Despite the name, I don’t see it as romantic (perhaps due to the creative effort), and while the packaging is colorful, it has a striking presence. By the way, in the intermediate phase on my skin, I noticed a weird hint of Fanta. It carries the spicy signature of its creator; it’s not the most sophisticated, but it has conceptual maturity and harmony. Getting it is hard since it’s discontinued, but if you have the chance, try it without fear. Longevity is excellent, sillage is moderate to low, but it will never be cloying.

Horrible… for me, it’s a bad combination. Instantly gives me a headache; it smells like mango with chili.

  • carolina martinez

I absolutely love it! It’s a tropical and sweet perfume, you can really tell the spicy notes, perfect for summer.

I managed to get it again after years of it being discontinued. On clothes, it smells more like fruit and wood, while on skin, it leaves that spicy spice aroma. I was once a huge Hilary Duff fan and thought that was why I loved it, but after so many years without smelling it, it now sounds like an elegant daytime perfume, ideal for summer or autumn. That said, it’s nothing like ‘chili mango’; the mangosteen resembles lychee, and combined with the spices, it feels very tropical, sweet, juicy, and warm. The sillage doesn’t last as long as it used to for me.

I finally tracked this perfume down again after years of it being discontinued. On clothes, the fruit and wood stand out, but on my skin, it leaves that spicy kick of spices. I used to be a fan of Hilary Duff and thought that was why I loved it, but after so long without smelling it, I realize it’s an elegant daytime scent, perfect for summer or fall. Note: it’s nothing like ‘mango with chili’; the mangosteen is more like lychee, and combined with the spices, it’s very tropical, sweet, and juicy. The trail isn’t as long-lasting as before.

My all-time favorite fragrance! It truly smells like vanilla, tropical, and oriental all at once. I’ve only noticed something similar in the tropical notes with Escada’s Born in Paradise. I’d love some recommendations for something like it! Thanks.
