What a delight! Another proposal from Ésika that has nothing to envy from other categories. It smells like Dior Sauvage without that soapy touch and is a bit more alcoholic. It’s super versatile with good projection and, above all, longevity.
I get what people say about it smelling like Sauvage, but to my nose, it’s closer to CK’s Eternity for Men, kind of a blend of both. I’ve tried several Sauvage clones, and I think UDV Star is the closest, though it lacks ambroxan and feels more mature. In contrast, this UNO smells fresher, greener, and younger. The note that stands out most on my skin is ginger, followed by a total green vibe. I don’t smell much ambroxan, and the leather is completely absent. It’s not powerful, but rather medium intensity. It’s a daily wear, but I’m sure I’ll find something better to use on a daily basis.
When I bought this, I had low expectations and made a mistake by spraying 8 times… ugh, unnecessary; 5 sprays are enough for over 6 hours on clothes. Exquisite, a super versatile man… a safe purchase for someone over 30.
It’s a good and interesting fragrance because it doesn’t smell generic. From the start, you get a fresh, zesty mandarin with that gin note, plus ambroxan; it smells like orange liqueur with a synthetic touch. The leather is absent. Many say it resembles dry-down Sauvage, but not really. The ambroxan recalls the Sauvage DNA but isn’t the same. I’d say 50% similarity: UNO is much more citrusy, gin-forward, and lacks the pepper of Sauvage. Recommended for a casual look or the office. Not elegant enough for a suit or a chic event. Fresh and not sweet, ideal for temperate climates but not for cold or extreme heat. What I don’t like is that the scent can be too sharp and synthetic for the first 20 minutes; it fatigues the nose. It’s very artificial, sharp, and annoying. Longevity isn’t top-notch either; it lasts about 3 hours and needs reapplication. I give it 7/10; the price is good for what you get and the bottle is beautiful.
I respect the reviews but I have to disagree. It doesn’t smell like Sauvage; I own all the Dior ones, and this Esika one smells more like gin-soaked orange. It’s super good; I recommend it wholeheartedly.
I tested this over the last 3 days. The simple box is clear, and even though the label isn’t my style, the bottle and cap are beautiful and pleasant to the touch. Just right for everyday or running errands; economical and smells good with an acceptable longevity (6-8h) for the price, around $20. I’d say it resembles Sauvage, at the opening and especially dry down, with less pepper and less soapy side. It’s curious that Sauvage EDT gives me a headache while I love it, but this UNO suits me well. I recommend it as a workhorse for school or the office. Super rich indoors. I understand you can’t expect more for the price since it’s a catalog scent, but for me, it’s excellent.
Terrible and misleading fragrance. That beautiful citrusy, herbal opening disappears in under 20 minutes, replaced by a super artificial and unpleasant ambroxan. After a few hours, it mixes with the fixative and creates a nauseating sensation. Even soap couldn’t remove it; I had to use alcohol. I don’t recommend it at all unless you want to smell cheap chemicals. There’s much better stuff from L’bel or Esika.
Not Esika’s best; it gets tiring and gives me headaches. Too soapy, smells artificial with zero quality notes. Compared to Magnat Select, Imperium, or Pulso, it’s inert. I’m fighting to use it.
The opening is enigmatic and fresh, a bit citrusy and gin-like, really stimulating. I liked it at first, but the development didn’t hold my interest. Smells artificial, like a classic catalog scent. For the price, you can’t ask for more; it’s enough if you’re not picky. It might please some, but I wore it twice and sold it.
Terrible fragrance, very deceptive since that delicious citrus and herbal opening disappears in less than 20 minutes to give way to a super synthetic and unpleasant ambroxan, which after a few hours mixes with the intense smell of the fixative causing a very nauseating sensation. Even with soap I couldn’t get rid of that horrible smell and had to apply alcohol. I don’t recommend it at all unless you want to smell like cheap chemicals. There are many better options from both L’bel and Ésika.
Esika fragrances aren’t as good as people say. This UNO is versatile, but it can quickly become overwhelming.
It’s not the best fragrance from Ésika, it’s fatiguing, dizzying, and very soapy, it smells synthetic and quality notes aren’t felt. If we put it next to Magnat Select, Imperium, and Pulso, this fragrance has nothing to do. I struggle a lot to wear it.
I kept 10ml as a backup and the scent intensified after three months. Projects super well and smells even better. It’s 80% similar to Versace Dylan Blue; both are citrusy, sweet, and frankly ambroxan-heavy. A good alternative to Versace, less sweet, perfect for summer 😏.
Honestly, this is really bad. It smells cheap mixed with just anything.
In the opening it’s a decent fragrance with a slightly liquorish and citrusy start, but after a while it turns into a quite unpleasant aroma, I imagine it’s that chemical ambroxan. I can’t recommend it, Ésika has better fragrances, this one is not.
The opening is a decent fragrance with a boozy and citrusy touch, but after a while it turns into a quite unpleasant scent; I imagine it’s the chemical ambroxan. I can’t recommend it; Esika has better fragrances, this one is not good.
I recommend it; it’s an intense and soapy fragrance that denotes cleanliness, ideal for office mornings. Only the atomizer doesn’t do its job well; I solved it with a generic decant that sprays the liquid better, plus if sprayed correctly, you get more out of the fragrance. Greetings to everyone who shares a taste for fragrances.
When I first bought it, I didn’t like it at all; it smelled like intense, ugly soap: I even thought about gifting it. Then, after about a month and a half of use, its scent changed; I smell it more boozy and less soapy, and it started to please me. Anyway, I wouldn’t buy it again, but it’s not bad at all.
I want to completely change my opinion! 15 days after not spraying it, I gave it another try today and I really liked it. The scent is nothing like the generic stuff I said; it’s fresh, rich, and potent. It’s nothing old-fashioned; it smells great for the price. I’ve been drenched in it for 2 hours (10 sprays) and I like it more and more with every passing moment. The scent is very versatile; I see it as perfect for hot days and cozy for cool days. Honestly, I’ll finish the bottle, but I doubt I’ll buy it again, not because it’s bad, but because I want to try something different. I also tried L’Bel’s Bleu Glacial; this week when it was fresh, I used it every day, and the scent embraced me; it’s fresh, soft, and cozy, and I liked it a lot. I think these months without using it did it good. This was my initial opinion, but it’s nothing like it now. Regret buying it. It arrived at night, and I only sprayed it once on my arm to start. The opening is very rich, nothing extraordinary but rich. The problem started about 30 minutes later: the delicious scent fades and leaves a very generic one, like any catalog perfume, sweet and spiced, which started to make me dizzy and nauseous to the point that I couldn’t stand it for 1 hour and had to take a shower again. Simply not what I expected, what a pity; I had so much faith in it. I’ve tried 3 from the catalog, supposedly highly rated, but I left all 3 unused because although the openings are delicious, the dry-down always goes to something very generic and bad-tasting for me. I’m talking about L’Bel’s Bleu Glacial, Natura’s Kayak Vital, and this Uno by Esika. Conclusion: despite how much it hurts to say it, I won’t buy again, first none from the catalog and second, nothing from designer brands that I haven’t decanted for a while. And as a note, I’m convinced I’m 99% fresh citrus aromas; in the remaining 1%, Halloween Man X and CH 212 Sexy fit.
10/10 value for money. If you find it for under $500, it’s totally worth it. I bought it in Dec 2022, and after a year I can say it’s very versatile for weather and time of day. It can easily be your signature fragrance for many occasions; it’s not as generic as some describe it. The scent is serious but not old-fashioned, denoting a certain cleanliness. The opening with mandarin and gin is strong in a good way; in the heart, the most I smell is ginger, and in the base, the ambroxan, these last two closer to the skin. Its performance is about 4 hours of projection and 6-7 on the skin. The first 2 hours project very well considering the cost.
I’ve been wearing it for 6 months; it’s very versatile. After a month, the longevity increased. It has a fresh, boozy opening, an aromatic heart, and a very strong amber base that I didn’t quite like. Although it’s a good fragrance, at 4 hours the ambroxan still stings in bursts and started to bother me. It doesn’t resemble Dior Sauvage, but it’s the same style, more similar to Dylan Blue. Note: it causes olfactory fatigue; I had to apply it to someone else to properly notice its projection and longevity. Longevity: 6h+. Projection: 3h. Usage: Casual-informal (heat, temperate). Age: 18+.
Smells very herbal, not an odor that everyone likes in my opinion, I recommend trying it before. In warm nights it works better than during the day, in my opinion, due to its very herbal aroma. With sweat, it becomes unpleasant.
It smells very herbal, which isn’t a scent everyone likes; I recommend giving it a try. It works better on warm nights than during the day because of that intense herbal aroma. It turns a bit unpleasant with sweat.
It doesn’t smell like Dior Sauvage, but it’s the same fresh and woody style. It smells great, it’s masculine, modern, and clean, but the longevity is short. It’s perfect for the gym for me; several people, both men and women, have given me nice compliments. Lately, I layer it with Issey Miyake INTENSE. I use IMI as a base and this on top, and the result is super good. That mix of citrus and spices stays strong, but the longevity is short. I recommend it for the price.
It’s a light and versatile fragrance. For the price, you can’t ask for more in terms of longevity and projection, but it smells good and is very pleasant. It reminds me of a lighter, less obnoxious version of Sauvage.
Huge perfume in terms of quality-price ratio. — SCENT — I can’t think of another description other than ‘a gin in a bottle’. Literally it’s like having a well-prepared gin in a perfume. Subtle, sweet, not cloying, and extremely versatile. It gives an impression of cleanliness. — LONGEVITY AND TRAIL — It has moderate longevity, about 5-6 solid hours. As for the trail, amazingly, if you throw on a couple of sprays, it feels moderate but noticeable. If you want to make an impression, this perfume is indeed one where with 6 or more sprays, you’ll achieve an imposing trail. — USE — It can be a firm perfume due to its versatility and because it has an aroma that is in no way conventional. You won’t smell like the rest. Especially for hot days, it’s perfect.
Fantastic fragrance for quality and price. SCENT: I can’t think of any other description than ‘gin in a bottle.’ Literally, it’s like having a well-prepared gin. Subtle, sweet, not cloying, and extremely versatile; it gives an impression of cleanliness. LONGEVITY AND Sillage: Moderate longevity, 5-6 hours solid. The sillage is amazing; with two sprays, it’s moderate but noticeable. If you want to make an impression, six or more sprays achieve an imposing trail. USAGE: It can be a strong fragrance due to its versatility and unconventional scent. You won’t smell like everyone else. Especially for hot days, it’s perfect.
What really stands out is the mandarin with a hint of liquor and ambroxan. It smells great, but it doesn’t smell like Sauvage; I think people who say it does have never tried it. It’s potent and you’ll get noticed on the street for a couple of hours. Lasts about 6 hours on skin, and the ambroxan scent lingers on my shirt for a couple of days. 👍🆗
Versatile aroma in the Sauvage style, watch out, they aren’t the same but it reminds you of it slightly. One of the best from Esika, I’d dare to say. Excellent for daily use if you want to start in the world of perfumery: it’s affordable and works well for any season, just adjust the sprays according to the weather.

The first time I smelled it, it was a guy in a store in Sonora (where it’s between 35 and 45 degrees). I bought it, let it macerate for a month, and it’s a very casual, sophisticated leather and ambroxan for everyday wear. When I go to work and have to be in the sun, it’s one of my go-to perfumes for ‘war mode.’ For the price, it’s a great fragrance that we should have in our collection.
The first time I smelled it was a guy in a clothing store in Sonora (a city where temperatures fluctuate between 35 and 45 degrees). I bought it and let it mature for a month; I can say it’s a very casual, sophisticated leather and ambroxan for everyday wear. When I go to work and have to be exposed to the sun, it’s one of my go-to perfumes in ‘war mode’. For the price, it’s a great perfume that I think we should have in our collection.
I just bought Sauvage Eau de Parfum and one from Esika that resembles this Sauvage version a lot. It doesn’t resemble the Eau de Toilette at all, but it does resemble this EDP, very much. The Esika one is fresher because the Sauvage EDP is sweeter. I’d say it’s 85% or more similar, very citrusy, and you can tell the woody ambroxan. For the price, it’s a great option to have a scent similar to Sauvage EDP.
The scent is rich but very sharp and spicy; sometimes the intensity hides the individual components. I bought it expecting a Sauvage dupe, but it’s nowhere near it. It could remind you of something from the line, like a Dior flanker, but if you’re looking for a dupe, this isn’t the option.
Acquiring this fragrance was a disappointment: the alcohol smell is strong, and in my warm climate, it’s too heavy. I bought it at twenty-four and thought it was for an older man; now I’d say it’s for someone over forty in cold weather. After two more applications, I concluded it wasn’t my style, so I gifted it to my dad.
The opening and the first ten minutes didn’t convince me, nor did they smell bad, but the magic is in the dry down and longevity. It’s 90% Sauvage EDT (in my opinion); it just lacks the pepper that gives it that characteristic kick to the nose. In the air, if you’ve smelled Sauvage, it will remind you of it 100%, though it’s not the same. It lasted me over twelve hours on skin; even after twelve hours, it’s still perceptible without being overwhelming. Incredible longevity. However, be careful with projection: if you over-spray, you’ll knock yourself and everyone around out. Not for extreme heat.
The opening is alcoholic, almost strong enough to register on a breathalyzer, but within ten minutes it becomes soft and exquisite. It’s a pure blue fragrance, crowned by that note that initially seemed like raw rye from New Year’s Eve, but now it’s elegant and unique. Scent 10/10, price 10/10, projection 7/10, and longevity 8/10.
Forget comparisons with Dylan or Sauvage; they have nothing to do with each other. It literally smells like a gin and tonic with davana; the ginger is very subtle and the leather just adds body to the dry down. Very clean and casual, ideal for the office. Moderate projection for the first two hours, then it stays in a personal bubble, and after six hours, it’s just skin scent. For the price, it’s a great deal.
Smells like a soft tangerine with a herbal touch and a masculine base. It doesn’t smell like Sauvage because it lacks the lavender; this is pure ambroxan and pepper without that floral note. I’d give it a 7/10.
