Upon application, it has a charming aura: a blend of white florals and round citrus notes, nothing sharp. It smells very natural and relaxing; the interplay between floral, citrus, and woody layers makes me keep sniffing the application spot to see how it evolves. In reality, it’s fairly linear, but the shifting dominance of one note over another keeps it interesting without overshadowing the base. It has a vintage touch. I tested it on one arm alongside Bergamotto Di Calabria by ADP… ADP is simpler and more modern, a bergamot or rich lime scent that reminds me of a lemon pie due to its roundness. Returning to Tonic Blanc, I notice it’s more sophisticated, full of subtle nuances that make it seem crafted, yet it conjures an image of an old-money woman strolling through downtown in an expensive coat with her hair perfectly styled, accompanied by refined friends… very much my thing. I think in spring, in a park with gardens, it would be a hit. Right now it’s November in northern Spain, I’m still testing and will edit later.

If you live in Mexico, you’ll recognize this perfume as almost identical to the classic Sanborns cologne. The difference lies in Tonic Blanc’s superior longevity and its enveloping sillage. It’s a versatile, timeless fragrance that always fits: comforting in the cold and refreshing in the heat. It doesn’t aim to be original or edgy, but rather to revive something already proven and appreciated. For those 35 and older, it will surely evoke childhood memories tied to family members who once wore it naturally.

This is a perfume you must try before buying: it smells like a clean, well-groomed man in his 30s, perfect for everyday wear. I use it for heading to university during hot weather, and it works wonderfully. It’s a classic citrus, white floral, and woody cologne; on my skin, it lasts over 8 hours, projects well, and makes itself felt. A great purchase, though I recommend trying decants first, as the scent might feel a bit mature for some.

I bought a sample from ‘luckyscent’ and was very surprised. It smells like an Italian barbershop, with an impactful opening like vigorously rubbing fresh lemon leaves, giving the sensation of being in a green garden. Very citrusy. On blotter paper it holds up strong for two days, and on clothes it’s still present by the third day. On skin it’s fantastic, but I recommend trying it before buying.

A ‘citrus’ scent that lasts quite a while at the cost of being an awful alcohol bomb. I bought it blind at a good price, what a waste… Now I use it as hand sanitizer and to light the fireplace. For that, it’s luxury.

I bought a decant and didn’t hesitate long to order the full bottle; it’s a very wearable fragrance.
