I picked this up for that marzipan note, since the database previously only listed the other small bottle with heliotrope; maybe they changed the design and notes, I’m not sure. But marzipan and heliotrope… especially almond! You have to try it! The moment I smelled it, it reminded me of three fragrances: the reformulation of Hypnotic Poison, Kenzo Amour, and Sicily by D&G (that soapy sensation). Sometimes it leans closer to one than the other, and other times it feels like they blended all those perfumes into a single bottle, yet it remains uniquely itself. It’s vanilla-based, slightly almond-toned, with a potent powdery dose; despite this, I think it can be worn in spring/summer too if applied moderately, as on my skin it has an immense longevity and sillage. Recently, I realized it’s becoming hard to find; I wonder if it’s been discontinued… snif.
