I bought it without testing it, and honestly, it didn’t surprise me at all. On my skin, the bergamot, orange blossom, jasmine, and vanilla stand out. It’s floral and sweet, but it fades weakly as it dries. If you’re not careful, it smells like bar soap. I’d give it a 5 out of 10. Very weak.
I tried the roses and they were exquisite, but the terracotta musk is a total fiasco. I can’t smell anything, not even the first time. I regret the purchase.
I tried the Rose and White versions, which are luxurious, but the Terracotta Musk is a disaster: it’s barely noticeable, not even the first time. I regret buying it.
I bought it for my mother after seeing it in a magazine. The opening is fresh bergamot with freesia and sweet lychee. It’s very airy. I detect vanilla, orange blossom, and tiare, which give it a relaxing touch. The musk wraps everything in a cottony cloud. On her skin, it lasted all day, though in the end, it’s truly for you. Ideal for the office or dates, year-round.
I gifted it to my mother because she mentioned in a magazine that she liked it. The opening is fresh bergamot with freesia and a touch of sweet lychee. It’s very airy. I detect vanilla, orange blossom, and tiare, which give it a relaxing and sober vibe. The musk wraps everything in a cottony cloud. On her skin, it lasted all day, though in the end, it’s truly for you. Ideal for the office or dates, year-round.
Bought it blind and what a surprise: I love gourmands, but there’s nothing here. On my skin, it’s a subtle animal touch mixed with cleanliness, thanks to the orange blossom and iris. It smells great, but the longevity is a disaster; with luck, it lasts an hour if you use moisturizer. Such a shame for such a beautiful scent.
I tried it on blotter paper and it didn’t grab my attention much, but on my skin it was magical: it turned into a creamy, sweet musk that fascinates me. That said, I’d love for it to last longer.
I tested it on blotter paper and it didn’t catch my attention, but on my skin, it’s magical: it becomes creamy, sweet, with a touch of talc. I’m fascinated by it, I just wish it lasted longer.
Clean and musky scent. I don’t notice the vanilla sweetness; it reminds me of some cream or deodorant I’ve heard of. Not for me.
Very delicious.
I bought it blind, wanting to try Adolfo Domínguez and started with Terracota and Nude. Terracota has a citrus opening, ideal for me, but it softens in a minute. Don’t let that softness fool you, because after an hour, an exquisite sweetness appears that makes me want to bite my wrist. At 2 or 3 hours, a cozy musk emerges. It lasts almost 6 hours on me.

Beautiful fragrance, delicious but extremely soft. I wish it lasted longer.
Unfortunately, it doesn’t last at all, neither on paper nor on skin. At most, it’s noticeable for 3 to 5 minutes and then it’s imperceptible. The top notes remind me of dish soap. Plus, the bottle tends to leak perfume. Not worth the investment.
Unfortunately, it doesn’t last almost anything, neither on paper nor on skin. At best, it’s noticeable to others for 3 or 5 minutes and then it disappears. The top notes smell like dish soap. Also, the bottle tends to leak perfume. The investment isn’t worth it.
Similar to Nude Musk but with more body and olfactory solidity. It comes out with the lychee present, spicier and more acidic. It’s a noble and fresh scent that softens into flowers wrapped in earthy vanilla. At the end, a subtle iris gives it a twist. If it had a higher concentration, it would be a hit; for now, it’s rich but weak.
It’s my go-to for hot days, citrusy and very refreshing. I like it more than the Nude and think it’s my favorite from the brand. It lasts between 5 and 6 hours, but since I don’t have a good pH for fixation, I consider that a bit short.
A friend gifted it to me after seeing how much I liked it at the perfumerie and knowing I already owned several perfumes. The bottle is gorgeous, a nude gradient with a wooden cap. Upon opening, it’s fresh, with bergamot and lychee adding sweetness alongside the freesia, a nearly imperceptible touch. After a while, orange blossom and tiaré emerge, though the jasmine is less present. On skin, the flowers and fresh lychee blend with vanilla that balances without being gourmand. The musk base is powdery from the iris. It’s feminine, coquettish, making you feel put-together, clean, tidy, and sensual. It lasts about 5 hours with a trail on the arm, then becomes more intimate. Ideal for daily wear, dinners, or parties without being invasive. It’s my first Adolfo Domínguez from the collection, and I’m pleasantly surprised by the longevity for the price.
A friend gifted it to me after knowing I liked it at the perfumery. The nude bottle with a wooden cap is gorgeous. The opening is fresh with bergamot and sweet lychee, accompanied by an almost imperceptible freesia. Then comes the orange blossom and tiare; I don’t detect much jasmine. As it dries, the flowers and lychee blend with a balanced vanilla. The powdery musk closed by the iris completes the scent. It’s feminine, flirty, and makes you feel put-together. It has sensuality without being too much. It lasts about 5 hours in the trail and an extra hour close to the skin. It’s a perfect daily wear, even for parties, without bothering anyone. I’m surprised by Adolfo Domínguez’s quality for this price.
I received it as a sample, and thanks to that, because without it I wouldn’t have dared to try the brand. I love the opening, but I wish it lasted longer; to me, it smells like cologne, not perfume, because it disappears in a flash.
It arrived as a sample and I’m grateful for it, because without it, I wouldn’t have been brave enough to try the brand. I love the opening, but I wish it lasted longer. For me, it’s more of a cologne than a perfume because nothing stays.
DUPE of Givenchy’s Irresistible and many others. Clearly it’s a copy; I don’t dislike it for the price; it’s a very good dupe. But I’m also not a fan of this scent in general; pear and roses are the most overused notes nowadays. It’s already a smell that has me exhausted, you can smell it everywhere.
I’ve been using Prada Candy Kiss for a while, and this option is very similar. It’s a “low cost” alternative (though honestly, these by Adolfo Domínguez aren’t cheap either). When I finish the Prada, I’ll be left with just the Terracota. Currently I have both, and I say the Terracota has better longevity and sillage. Tip to make it stronger: unscrew the sprayer to let oxygen in and let it rest for a month.
I bought this along with the Nude Musk because I was told it was practically the same, just more intense. Yes, it’s more intense, but they don’t resemble each other at all; this one feels harsh and strong to me, I notice the musk a lot, and it feels heavy. I didn’t finish the bottle, I gifted it and kept its “sister”.
This fragrance makes me think of a slightly acidic lemonade, and as it evolves, into sugared lemons. Or the same drink with a splash of syrup (I guess that’s where the lychee comes in). It’s fresh, sweet, bright, citrusy… seems like a good option to refresh yourself without overwhelming with more than one spray, plus it’s affordable. It gives off “clean girl” vibes without smelling like soap. It’s quite pleasant. On my skin, it lasts about 5 hours with moderate sillage. In my case, the scent lasts longer on skin than on clothes.
Powdery talc scent in its dry-down. Or 80s lipstick. Or deodorant. I can’t find any standout note, but it’s also not the kind of talc I like, because it’s a dry talc, not a clean scent like others. I’d only wear it after a shower. The bottle is gorgeous.
I liked it more than the Nude; the other one seemed more masculine. This one is acid-sweet, quite fresh. You can smell the orange blossom, which is my favorite note. I didn’t buy the pure orange blossom because I felt it would get cloying (it reminds me of Christmas panettone). I bought it at 40% off, along with the body cream and the pocket perfume. Not all come in 120mL. It lasts quite a while on the skin, and with the body cream, it lasts even longer if you apply the cream first. I bought the Mimosa one before and finished it by 9/10. I tried the Gardenia one but haven’t gotten it yet; that’s pending. The Bamboo one also smells fresh. This perfume is for everything: work, afternoons with friends, or with your boyfriend. Fresh, smells clean and feminine, without getting cloying to you or others. If you’re looking for seduction, this isn’t it. Not the style. Overall: 8.5/10.
Today I tested it with Solar Freesia and Jasmine & Tonka and realized that Terracota Musk and Solar Freesia have a VERY similar dry-down; to my nose, they’re like twin sisters. I don’t know if others experience this, but if it weren’t for the different opening, I’d see no need to have both. If you like one and haven’t smelled the other, you’ll probably love the other. I see Solar Freesia as a flanker of this, just with a different name; I’m not sure if I’m explaining myself well.
Terracota Musk is another hit from Adolfo Domínguez. I came here after reading it’s similar to Givenchy’s Irresistible EDP, and I agree. It’s not a clone, but it has a very similar dry-down, especially due to the ambrette musk. It’s a white floral scent (mainly tiare and orange blossom) with lots of ambrette and little vanilla. The iris gives it a powdery touch, but very soft. On my skin, it lasts 5-6 hours with moderate sillage. It’s pretty, but not elegant; better for everyday wear.
Relax, it’s good for the office. It doesn’t bother anyone; on my skin, it comes out very citrusy with lots of talc. It’s not annoying and doesn’t stand out. If someone gifts it to you, use it; otherwise, swap it. I swapped it, lol, it’s just not my style.
I tried the Nude Musk and loved it, so I was curious about this Terracota Musk. Surprise: it smells very similar to Michael Kors’ Wonderlust. It’s earthy almonds with a touch of talc. Verdict: rich and cheap, but not very original.
