  It’s rare to connect with a perfume, but it’s incredible when one surprises and shakes you without you expecting anything. I’ve been wanting a Replica in my collection for a while, and I still believe it’s the perfumes that choose us, not the other way around; that’s what happened with Tea Escape. It was an opportunity, and now I have a fragrance that captivates and intoxicates me. It doesn’t smell like anything I’ve tried before; it’s so unique, full of originality and boldness—a well-calculated and highly successful risk for my nose. Released in 2014, created by Fabrice Pellegrin, who also crafted the great Do Son for Diptyque. It opens with sparkling bergamot and fresh, relaxing mint, and after 10 minutes, it invites you to that natural green tea surrounded by delicate jasmine and a very noticeable osmanthus. At the perfect moment, tiny drops of milk are added for creaminess, along with soft toasted rice that gives it body. This original fusion results in something enveloping, relaxing, sweet, and fresh—a creamy scent that caresses your skin. Tea Escape inspires beauty, peace, and elegance; it’s ethereal and so singular that it’s hard to describe. I don’t just enjoy it, I live it and feel it. It’s addictive for me; I feel like drinking it. It lasts 12 hours on my skin with a moderate sillage. 9/10
