  The bottle is a masterpiece: metal with red stones and oriental patterns, all beautiful, though the juice is different. It starts woody, spicy, balsamic, and smoky with a floral base that reminds me of Coca-Cola, and I don’t know why. I love this part, but it’s short. Then the resin, musk, and amber appear. At first, they’re subtle, but when the opening fades, I don’t like it; there are even moments I find unpleasant. I’m not sure if it’s a single note or the blend, but it doesn’t convince me. Now it smells fizzy, rough, and dry, which bothers me. If the dry-down were a bit more resinous and sweet, it would be perfect, but it still doesn’t fully convince me, though I’ll keep testing it when it gets colder. The longevity is excellent, lasting over 8 hours. The sillage is moderate but correct for an attar. It’s for cold climates and night use, of very good quality, but not entirely to my taste.

  This is a handmade fern. Sweet rosemary from the start, astringent and rough like a disinfectant, with a medicinal base that smells like a treatment room with wet plaster and penicillin. An Arab-style fougère.

  @darkbeat I think the one you don’t like is that bedbug and zotal smell, which I also noticed.
