A relative gifted me this set, but unfortunately, I never used it. I’ve always found it to be a youthful, loud, and synthetic fragrance—a blend of musk, hyacinth, and citrus that I never liked. It hurts not to wear it because I know they put a lot of love into it, but it remains an unpleasant memory I won’t include among my favorites.
I bought the travel size thinking it would have a more pleasant aroma… I was disappointed, more than you can imagine. At first, I found it nice; it was small, and I didn’t know how to recognize a quality synthetic fragrance. I wore it, and some people liked it. But now, when I smell it, I perceive it as super synthetic, artificial, and grating. It even smells like wet cardboard with shampoo to me. Very unpleasant; I think it’s a bad perfume, almost suffocating. At least I didn’t buy the 100ml version. I regret giving in… There are better Avon perfumes out there.

One of my first colognes as a teenager. I wore it between ages 14 and 16; I loved it, considering it fresh, floral, and slightly sweet. The notes that stood out to me were honey, hyacinth, lemon, lily, and rose. Many girls my age wore it back in 1995. Later, I discovered other perfumes and switched. A year ago, at 34, I bought it again, but even after finishing the bottle, it no longer appealed to me as much, as I’ve gotten used to more intense perfumes. I recommend it for young girls, any time of year, and for everyday wear, not for parties. Many people use it, which is why Avon still sells it so much. It lasts a short time on skin, about 1 to 2 hours at most, a bit longer on clothes. It’s affordable and good for beginners. Try it and let me know.

This perfume is a bit synthetic, but not in an unpleasant way. It’s floral and aldehydic. I like it because it was my grandmother’s and one of the first she gave me. It’s a great option for beginners exploring the world of perfumes alongside Avon classics like Charisma, Timeless, Odyssey, Candid, Imari, and Tasha. Many people underestimate and mock Avon, but these scents have stood the test of time, and Sweet Honesty is still on the market for a reason.
I absolutely love it. Like all Avon perfumes, it doesn’t last long on the skin, but it’s incredibly rich. It’s a quintessential everyday scent that you can’t be without, ideal for right after you get out of the shower.
Sweet Honesty is such a lovely perfume. It’s subtle, sweet, feminine, innocent, melifluous, and soft. A citrus scent with powdery notes and a very slight sweetness. Even though it lacks the fruity or gourmand notes that are trendy, I think it’s timeless and suits women of all ages. While its longevity is moderate, I believe it’s a beautiful perfume perfect for post-shower or casual occasions. It simply makes me feel good; I love it.
They gave it to me when it was cold, and it was perfect on my skin. When the heat arrived, it became unbearable, and I had to shower to get rid of it. Wearing it in winter is cozy, very powdery, and rich.
I don’t understand why this fragrance is so underrated. The beauty of Sweet Honesty is splendid and warm. It perfectly captures the moment in the movie ‘Somewhere in Time’ when the protagonists meet under the sun. It’s a reunion with oneself, nature, or love. Citrus, vanilla, and honey (middle notes) could belong to the Belle Époque. It’s not ‘baby powder’ scent; it’s something more complex, though it does radiate that warmth and comfort that link it to that title. It has a soft white floral touch. The only difference from the vintage is that the old one had more honey, while the new one is slightly citrusy with more musk, but overall it only changes about 15%, almost imperceptible. I adore Sweet Honesty; it’s simple, elegant, and quality. A true 70s Avon hit. Comparisons to Chanel No. 22 aren’t bad, except that Chanel is spicier and stronger, while this is more peaceful and intimate.
I loved the original version. A few days ago, someone gave it to me from their stash, and it was the best gift ever. My favorite aunt used to wear it years ago, and I recognized it instantly upon smelling it. The current version is very different: the color changed from amber to clear, and the smell is distinct. They seem like sisters but aren’t the same. The new one feels like they just added water. It’s a shame; I’ll keep this bottle as a relic.
I loved it when I was a teenager, but now that I’m 30, I just don’t like the scent anymore.
What a beautiful fragrance! A delicious blend of honey, vanilla, and flowers. Yes, they reformulated it, but it’s still largely that warm, enveloping perfume that brings me back to my childhood. I use it occasionally, and it fills me with nostalgia and joy. Even though I now own high-end perfumes, this Avon scent has a special place because it reminds me of my happy childhood.
Sparkling, tender, and lovely. It’s a rich scent to wear on your skin and is loved by everyone.
A pleasant and soft fragrance. I remember that rich honey scent. I wore it in my teens; it’s subtle, but a downside is that it doesn’t last long on the skin.
It was one of my childhood colognes and sparked my love for florals that continues to this day. It has a herbal note, like freshly cut grass, which cuts through the floral sweetness and gives that sense of cleanliness and freshness. I wish it lasted longer (unlike Far Away, another Avon gem). It smells like a good, beautiful, modest, and simple person.
I used to wear it a lot when I was a little girl: soft, delicious, and sweet. Now I’m not sure if I’d wear it for my age.
Tenderness bottled as a fragrance! I found it by following the notes, and it smells like childhood, like a baby, like baby powder. Its sillage is almost non-existent (the cologne isn’t sold here anymore), but it’s excellent for after a shower or before bed. I love classic fragrances, and this one will be with me for a long time. Worth it if you like baby scents <3
It’s tenderness bottled as perfume! I picked it up recently based on its notes and let me tell you: it smells like childhood, like a baby, like talcum powder. Its sillage is almost non-existent (I only got the cologne, as it’s no longer sold here), but it’s excellent for after a shower or before bed. I love classic fragrances, and this will definitely accompany me for a long time. It’s worth it if you enjoy baby-like scents.
I’m trying out several Avon classics I never bought despite using them when I was young, because I considered them too mass-market. Sweet Honesty was one of them. I’d never used it, but after reading incredible reviews, I felt compelled to get it immediately. No regrets. I wear it daily, but especially for sleeping; I find it floral, green, and sweet, and once it settles, it’s so pleasant it lulls me to sleep. Waking up to that scent brings peace. The best thing about these classics is their longevity. Although here it’s only available as cologne, perfume, and deo, it lasts a long time on skin and clothes in all formats. You can smell the flowers first, then the soft musk. I’m very happy to rediscover this well-crafted fragrance.
I tried several Avon classics I’d never used because I thought they were too mass-market, but Sweet Honesty won me over. I bought it compulsively and have no regrets. The best thing about the classics is their longevity: even though here I only find it as a cologne, deo, or spray, it lasts a long time in all formats. You can smell the flower first, then the musk. Sweet Honesty was my grandma’s signature cologne, a classic she adored. As a teenager, I’d sneak into her vanity, smell it, think ‘wow, that’s rich!’ and steal a little bit. Since scent connects so deeply with emotions, I just know I’ll buy it again one day to relive that magical time. 💞💞
It brings back memories of my childhood and teenage years; my grandma sold Avon and used to gift me these perfumes, which is why I’ve been a fan since I was little. I have one in my vanity that she gave me, and it still works perfectly. I love wearing it after a shower before bed, and my husband loves it too. It’s a scent full of memories.
It brings back my childhood and adolescence. My grandmother sold Avon products and used to gift us perfumes, which is probably why I became a fan from a young age. She would fill me with Avon and Zermat fragrances. I have one in my vanity that she gifted me, and it’s still going strong. I love wearing it to sleep after a shower; my husband likes it too. It’s a scent full of memories.
Smells like a hug from mom or grandma: relaxing, light, yet with a strong presence. I keep buying it to feel pampered.
Pure tenderness and innocence, the perfume of my most peaceful dreams <3
It was my teenage perfume. We all bought this at school, and it was huge. I bought it again out of nostalgia, and I still love it. It has something special. It smells like delicate, tender flowers, it’s relaxing with a citrus touch and a woody note. I’m happy it’s still being made with the same scent. A beauty.
I wore it when I was young, and it’s a scent I still like. It’s very recognizable because it was so popular in my country. It’s an aquatic floral with a slight sweetness, super pleasant.
I asked my mom for a deodorant, and she gifted me this because she thought it smelled like candy. It smells very talcum-like and delicate, giving me 80s vibes. I even love smelling this scent when I listen to Debbie Gibson tracks. I’ll definitely buy the bottle 💕
A pleasant classic. Smells like powder, it’s retro and baby-powder-like. It’s an innocent and charming fragrance. The aldehydic and floral notes stand out, though I also sense a bit of green; personally, I don’t find it sweet. It’s the daytime version of Avon’s Night Magic; if you like the latter, you won’t regret trying Sweet Honesty. It could be excellent for staying home, sleeping in, or casual outings, even work. The longevity is exceptional, and the projection is moderate. It’s worth more than it costs.
Personally, I don’t like it. It’s not bad, but it doesn’t convince me. It doesn’t compare to Sweet Honesty Treasures or Sweet Honesty Forever.
It still smells the same as when I used it in elementary school; every time I smell the catalogs or samples, I’m transported back to my childhood. I liked it as a kid, but not as much as other Avon fragrances, like the princess ones or Exotic Waters. I wouldn’t buy it again because the floral notes are very prominent, especially the rose and talc combo. If I like talc but not so much roses, my tastes have changed. It’s a very girly perfume and, in a way, timeless, though I don’t personally feel it’s very vintage.
Smells like talcum powder with flowers. For such a cheap price, it doesn’t smell cheap, and to me, it doesn’t feel that retro. It’s very pleasant for post-bath use.
This was the perfume my mom always wore when I was a kid. I’m not exactly sure how it smelled at every stage, but on her skin, it left that ‘mom’ scent—soft and calming. I’ll have to buy a bottle, give it to her, and hug her, just like I always do, to remember it.
This was my mother’s signature scent when she was a child. It left that soft, calming smell on the skin that I call ‘mom’s perfume.’ I’m craving to buy a bottle, gift it to her, and hug her to relive that special memory.
This is a flower scent that changed its formula; it used to be my go-to, and I opened it with a bit of disappointment. Before, it smelled like clean, dusty old books; now it’s more of an intense floral. It’s a classic, so I’ll keep using it because it’s not bad, but that nostalgic touch is gone. It’s still cheap, and I like how it dries down on the skin, even if it starts off strong and a bit rough. The longevity is short, but the size is perfect for a purse.
Smells super green and woody, which isn’t for me. Once it dries down, the honey and floral notes are barely noticeable—very soft and skin-scented. Too bad, since I was looking for that baby shampoo vibe. It’s cheap, though.
