Descripción
Sirène by Fragrance Du Bois is a women's fragrance from the olfactory family. Launched in 2024, this composition was created by perfumer Nanako Ogi. The olfactory pyramid unfolds with top notes of cherry and pepper, leading to a heart of oud wood, lactones, and incense. The trail settles on a base of benzoin, cyperus (nagarmota), labdanum, and moss.

Ordered about 4 decants of Sirene and Maraschino from Sospiro because I wanted a cherry perfume, and so far none have won me over (tried Lovefest Burning Cherry, Lost Cherry, Duchesa, Cherry Punk, Wet Cherry Liquor, Seductive Red). Maraschino was a NO at first because it smelled medicinal, and when it dried down, it reminded me of Dolce Melodia (which I adore but already own). Sirene is different. It definitely starts fruity (cherry, strawberry, and another fruit), but as it dries down, the cherry remains and a lovely oud arrives. To me, it smells like saffron even though it’s not listed. I feel it has a similar base (not dupes, just the base) to Anone by Pantheon Roma, Rialto by Gritti, and Liwa by Widian, but here the cherry is a co-protagonist. It’s ultra-long-lasting with good sillage. I think except for summer, it can be worn all year. It moved to the top of my wishlist!
I received a decant and what luck that it wasn’t a full bottle. The first thing I said without looking at the notes was how much oud! I smell it a lot along with the cherries and a smoky touch. Honestly, I didn’t love it. It reminds me of several Mancera perfumes… I can’t find anything special that justifies the cost. I admit oud isn’t my note. This Siren isn’t for me.
The first time I wore it, I didn’t quite get it; I’m used to sweeter scents. The second time, I paid attention to its evolution, and honestly, now I like it a lot. It’s a fine, natural cherry without being cloying. I prefer it to ‘Lost Cherry,’ for example. After those juicy minutes of fruit, there’s a creamy oud touch that envelops, leaving a very soft mossy base. It’s not heavy or intrusive, although I think you have to like cherry because I get the impression I can still smell it all the time, beyond the initial blast. I wish it lasted longer because the base is very soft and fades quickly. It doesn’t seem like a perfume for someone with a delicate personality or who tends to go unnoticed, because even if it’s not heavy, it has a lot of personality.
A pretty comfortable cherry to wear, not too acidic like others that feel childish, nor too dark/smoky. Its evolution is beautiful, and I appreciate the cypress, incense, and the sweet amber-resinous part of the benzoin more and more, highlighting its authentic beauty. On my skin, I don’t detect the pepper. What I would add is that it’s a very adult, woody, slightly mossy, and sensual cherry 💫❤️. The longevity and sillage are moderate for me, but it varies from person to person, so I invite you to try it on your skin to see if it suits you. I’d describe it as a woody cherry, very seductive and mysterious.
Sweet and semi-smoked cherry due to the incense over a woody base. Its personality is coquettish but with character. The cherry note isn’t cloying or natural; if it were a dessert, I’d say it has ‘cherry flavor’ rather than real cherries. The perfume is excellent. Rating 4/5
Wow, sweet brandied cherry but not cloying, with incense. It’s amazing! My 10s. Hoping for a dupe soon ♥️🍒🥃🔥
I loved it! On my skin, it smells quite a bit like La Capitale by Xerjoff with a touch of Burberry Her 😋. I’m completely smitten.
Bought it blind based on the notes and bottle, but when I opened the box, I fell in love with the second pastel pink velvet box. The packaging is insane: from the cardboard to the red interior and the bottle with pink details and stones. But let’s talk about the scent: I was blown away. It’s a ripe, dark cherry with a sweet base, amber, and smoky touches of incense and oud. Pure luxury. A fragrance that dresses you up, introduces you, and makes sure no one forgets you. Feminine, sexy, femme fatale. Totally recommended!
Bought it blind based on the notes and the gorgeous bottle. When I opened the box, I almost died of love for that second pastel pink velvet box inside—I didn’t expect it and it totally blew my mind! The presentation is pure art: cardboard box, velvet, red interior, and a bottle with pink details and stones. But let’s talk about the scent: I went crazy.
