Sasva caught me off guard, in the best way possible. Shanthi opens with a fruity cocktail and a hint of mint that’s noticeable from the very first moment. The entire scent revolves around those candied mango and pineapple notes—super juicy. I’d say it’s unisex, though I admit it might suit girls better. In my hot climate, it’s a total win: it lasts about 6 hours without issues and keeps that signature sweetness until the end. If you love fruits, it’s a 10/10 for you.
Love at first sniff. The juicy mango and pineapple opening is pure joy, while the mint adds a fresh twist to keep it from being cloying, and the pink pepper and cardamomo lift the energy. That subtle marine note transports you straight to a tropical paradise, by the sea on a summer night, with the waves and breeze on your face. It’s a fragrance that instantly brings me happiness and well-being. I tested it in the middle of winter, and it immediately lifted my spirits. The trail and longevity are typical Sasva: powerful and persistent, yet not overwhelming thanks to that freshness. Compared to Fruit du Paradis, my first purchase, this one is less sweet and easier to wear if you’re easily overwhelmed by sweetness. It will be my second bottle from the house if L’amour Libertin doesn’t win me over first.
