Another gem from Pazzaglia. The opening and drydown are delicious and addictive. If you’re looking for something salty, this isn’t bitter: muted citrus, fig, tons of salt, florals, and amber. I loved it. Great longevity and projection. Very good.

Another masterpiece by Pazzaglia. The opening and development are very pleasant and addictive. For those looking for salty perfumes, this doesn’t fall into the bitter category: not too bright citrus, fig, generous salt, flowers, and amber. A scent I absolutely loved. It performs well and projects strongly. Very good.

  • I tried it on an official decant from a trusted colleague. On the first spray, you know exactly what you’re getting: salty at the start, but far from the abyss of Megamare; the door is always slightly ajar. The ‘sea’ is portrayed, but for me, the ‘sex’ wins out because of that sweetness. It made me think of sweet Le Male, some fruity Mancera scents without that oud and Montale almond, Eros, or even Aventus in its green and clean touches. They aren’t direct copies, but a beautiful and peculiar blend of references. I hate you, Lorenzo, because I already had a purchase in mind and now I have to decide which one to grab. Two sprays aren’t enough to know if you like it; I’m a defender of not buying blind, though sometimes it’s inevitable. You should look for decants or order the discovery set on their website.

  • Safe bottle, such an addictive scent… it’s definitely the base of Black Sea (salt, myrtle, and marine notes) but combined with citrus, fig, and mint that give it a creamy touch. It perfectly captures the image on the bottle: a sunset on the beach. Its performance is very similar to Black Sea, with over 12 hours of longevity and powerful projection. Another definite top 5.

  • Lorenzo Pazzaglia makes perfumes that people absolutely love, and it’s hard to find one that doesn’t fascinate the general public. From chef to perfumer, his career grew overnight, and you just have to smell his fragrances to understand why. Sex Sea is marine, ideal for the beach, blending sweet, citrus, spicy, and salty notes, resulting in something addictive from the opening all the way to the dry down. Gender: unisex (one of the best that fits right in the middle). Season: heat or mild weather (where it really shines). Longevity: 12 hours. Projection: 1.5 meters.

  • Lorenzo Pazzaglia stands out for making fragrances that people love; it’s hard to find one that doesn’t fascinate the general public. • To me, this feels like two perfumes in one: the typical citrus and fruity opening of Sex Sea, especially that mint, and then it dries down like Artik Sea with a slight twist. It’s definitely a spectacular hit; there’s nothing to say, it’s worth the investment for this exquisite fragrance with brutal longevity and projection.

  • The top notes (citrus and Vicks-like mint) fade quickly, leaving only the marine heart (seaweed, salt, etc.), which is the base of all Pazzaglia ‘sea’ perfumes. I’ve enjoyed others in the family more. 100% masculine. Saying the longevity is ‘eternal’ would be an understatement: it’s like a tattoo. So if you don’t want to smell like a three-day beach vacation, think twice before spraying.

  • The citrus and Vicks-like mint last for a tiny bit at the start, then it’s just the purely marine notes (seaweed, salt), which is the base of the entire ‘sea’ family by Pazzaglia. There are others in the series I’ve liked more. It’s 100% masculine. Saying the longevity is ‘eternal’ is an understatement; it’s like a tattoo. If you don’t want to smell like ‘Vacation at the Beach’ for three days, think twice before hitting the atomizer.

  • It smells like salt, similar to Artik Sea, but honestly, it’s way too strong for me. No matter how hard you look for other notes as it dries down, the salt dominates and crushes everything. I think it would balance much better if they lowered that percentage a bit so it doesn’t overwhelm the rest of the aromas.

  • I have few words: I’ve only received positive comments when people try it. It lasts forever and the scent is fantastic.

  • A few adjectives aren’t enough for this perfume: everyone who’s tried it says it’s a hit. Smells amazing and lasts forever.

Lorenzo Pazzaglia’s Sex Sea is an ode to perfumery, a sea of sweet, juicy fruits encapsulated in a fresh, sharp ocean that over time turns a bit darker and rounder. It captivates attention around it; it was an instant buy. If you ask me, it’s the best unisex fragrance.

  • Pabloquinte

This is marine perfume with citrus and even more marine. I applied it today at 36 degrees and felt it for 6 hours with breeze and heat. Afterwards, I felt bursts of salt come and go, then nothing. I’ll keep testing it alongside Dream Sea, Artik Sea, and Black Sea to define which is the best in scent and longevity.

  • Once upon a time, there was a Black Sea stuck to a lemon. It has two halves: first, a fresh minty and green opening with every citrus you can think of (lemon, lime, tangerine, orange, yuzu, and limoncello) swimming in crystal-clear water with salt and juicy figs. The second half is the Black Sea DNA: salt, myrtle, and marine notes, which are here covered by the citrus explosion but still noticeable, creating an amazing combination. Longevity is outstanding, like its sisters. I dare to say all of Lorenzo’s last at least 10 hours on skin, and on clothes you can’t even imagine. As summery as it gets and very versatile. In summary: who said mixing good things couldn’t make something better? Because in this case, they were wrong.

  • SebastianMuñoz

Excellent perfume, literally like being at the sea. It has salty touches and very sharp, prominent citrus notes. Lasts more than 7 hours on skin and clothes, awakening all the senses. Among the Lorenzo Pazzaglia scents I’ve tried, this comes in second; number one is Van Py Rhum. This one without a doubt should be in every collection.

Nothing new! It vibes just like Acqua di Sale and Salaría, though nobody dethrones the first one as the best marine scent. On my skin, the myrtle stands out, which I don’t care for, but it has good longevity and projection. It’s unisex, but it leans slightly masculine as it dries down.

  • Adrian Escobar

Bought a decant and I loved it. As soon as I finish my samples, I’ll get the bottle. It lasts and projects a bit less than Black Sea, but it smells great without a doubt. It’s made for summer and daytime.

  • Bought it blind and it smells divine, easy to wear. Is blind buying safe? It depends on what you’ve smelled before. Some find it salty, but for me, compared to things like Megamare, Sex Sea isn’t complicated. I’d give it 9/10. I’m not sure if I got olfactory fatigue, but it doesn’t last as long as people say it does.
