It’s not a dupe for Haltane, I tested them side by side and they’re different. This one is definitely a dupe for Initio’s Oud For Greatness and a wonderful one at that, much better than Oud For Glory. If you like that DNA, Swiss Arabian created a work of art; the quality is amazing
Reminds me a lot of Lattafa’s Oud For Glory and Armaf’s Odyssey Aoud. I haven’t tried the Initio one so I’ll stay out of that. Obviously, it’s superior to the ones mentioned but noticeably more expensive. I feel its longevity and projection are weaker; I’m not sure if I should let it macerate to see what happens because it just doesn’t work for me. I own almost all of this line and they’re all beasts. For my taste, I already have enough of this scent, might sell it
I was looking for something dark green and woody, and this fits perfectly with the clove. It has a sweet touch from the saffron that isn’t quite my ideal, but… the base reminds me a lot of Oud For Greatness with that oud-saffron combo, though I find it less sweet and more green. I love it, I’m obsessed hahaha
