Shades by Armaf: What an incredible world of scents. What some might find empty, others find precious. I absolutely love it; it’s pleasant, masculine, modern, and has its own personality. The cedar and sandalwood do their job, the citrus notes refresh it, and the violet with jasmine give it a unique touch. It’s a workhorse for day, night, work, school, cold, heat, or going out. Note: if it doesn’t grab you at first, try it again; sometimes the nose needs time to assimilate it and discover its beauty. For me, it’s a ‘BBB’, a winner in terms of price and scent. I have a 2019 batch, not sure if they reformulated it. Without a doubt, I’ll buy it again. Scent: 8.0. Projection: acceptable for two hours. Longevity: eight hours. Recommended.
What a mess of scents, right? Some people smell nothing, but for others—like me—it’s a gem. Super pleasant, masculine, and modern with tons of personality. The cedar and sandalwood work great, freshened up by citrus, with violet and jasmine adding a unique touch. It’s a workhorse for everything: day, night, work, school, cold, heat, or going out. If it doesn’t grab you at first, try it again; sometimes your nose needs a couple of tries to get it. For me, it’s a ‘BBB’—it wins on price and scent. I have a 2019 bottle; I don’t know if they reformulated it, but I’d buy it again without hesitation. Scent: 8.0. Projection: acceptable for 2 hours. Longevity: 8 hours. Recommended.

It’s about 70% similar to Montblanc Individuel, but less sweet and sticky, more green and fresh with a warm touch. Sometimes it smells like synthetic plastic, especially at first, but it fades away later. It’s a masculine, versatile scent suitable for men 21 and up. Great for summer, though I see it as timeless. Good performance; lasts over 10 hours on the skin and projects strongly for the first two hours. With heat and sweat, it gets reactivated, but in enclosed spaces it can become a bit overwhelming despite being fresh. It doesn’t remind me of Aqua di Giò or Bleu de Chanel as much as it does Individuel. It’s not a sex-appeal bomb; it smells pleasant but somewhat generic, like you’ve heard it before. For the price and quality, a good blind buy if you don’t dislike Individuel. I’d rate it 7/10. UPDATE: I ended up selling it because I couldn’t stand the synthetic touch; it became heavy on my nose. What a pity, because I loved the first ten minutes.

It has amazing longevity, perfect for hot weather but not for winter. It’s well-balanced—not too complex or too simple—ideal for young people. It’s been eight hours since I applied it this morning and now floral notes are emerging, which is fantastic!
