Descripción
RV Pure by Roberto Verino is an aromatic fougère fragrance for men. Launched in 2011, this composition was created by nose Nathalie Feisthauer. The top notes reveal a vibrant freshness with red apple, lime, galbanum, bergamot, and mandarin. The heart unfolds with basil, lavender, statice, sea algae, jasmine, and clove, while the base settles with musk, patchouli, Virginia cedar, amber, oakmoss, and sandalwood.

People told me it smelled like L’Eau d’Issey, but it’s more of a certified Italian twist on an Essenza di Zegna clone. It’s close to Hugo Boss but better, with delicious citrus and a very fresh vibe. I fell in love at first sniff. I grabbed the 150ml for the price of a 100ml, which was a steal for my wallet. Highly recommended.
BBB: Good, Beautiful, Cheap. Smells amazing, lasts long, and offers great value. It’s like Polo Blue or Acqua di Gio Profumo: intense, fresh, and lightweight. A true wonder that replaces any of those. The perfect example of BBB.
I used it again today (my bottle is large, 125ml), and I must say it reminded me of Davidoff’s Echo (English version, someone else thinks the same) and Evaflor’s Whiskey Silver, which I own both. It also brings to mind the already mentioned Essenza di Zegna by Ermenegildo Zegna. Overall, it’s a nice and fresh fragrance, not necessarily very original, but that’s irrelevant when you like this type of fresh and slightly aquatic aromas.
This perfume is incredible! When I first tried it, I thought it was very subtle and didn’t pay much attention. I tried it again two or three months later, on a hot day, and besides the cleanliness, it’s wonderful to smell good. I assure you, it’s amazing, of excellent quality, and lasts over ten hours. Although it seems subtle, over the hours it intensifies and generates each stage beautifully. Unbeatable price-to-quality ratio.
I didn’t like it. I’d been recommended it for a while but couldn’t find it in Mexico until now. The opening promises to be interesting, but it only stays that way briefly. Overall, it reminded me a lot of Hugo Boss’s Hugo: very masculine, green, herbal, woody, with lavender and apple notes. It’s generic, synthetic, rigid, and retro. It’s no surprise it sells so well for such a low price. It doesn’t smell bad, but… is it just more of the same? Maybe in the 90s Hugo felt youthful, but today for me it’s very classic, better suited for someone who isn’t exactly a teenager (30-45 years old).
I just tried it at a department store. The 150ml bottle, with its color, shape, and presentation, gave me a clear idea of what to expect. I wasn’t wrong; I’d already sensed aromas from this line like Hugo Boss’s water bottle, but I liked it more because, even if it’s not intentional, its generous size invites you to use it without hesitation. Here in Chile, there are almost two months left until winter ends, so I see it as perfect for a future spring. If you don’t want to pay a fortune for an Acqua di Gio, Light Blue, or Hugo Water Bottle, this is a great choice. There will always be options, but this one will always be a good one.
Good, beautiful, and cheap. Smells great, long-lasting, and versatile. I’d place it in the same family as Polo Blue, Bleu, or Acqua di Gio Profumo: an intense, fresh, and non-heavy scent. It’s a marvel that can replace any of the mentioned ones. The perfect example of ‘good, beautiful, and cheap’ for a fragrance.
I was surprised by the longevity and projection for the price. It smells like the classic Hugo Boss water bottle and is very similar to Cuba Green, but with better staying power. It projects strongly, it’s rich, timeless, and suitable for everyone. Totally worth it even though it’s not original.
Excellent fragrance at a good price, nothing extraordinary but it delivers. Recommended.
It lasts a long time and projects well, which surprised me given its low price. It smells similar to Hugo Boss’s classic water bottle and very close to Cuba Green, but with better longevity. It radiates strongly, has a sharp yet rich scent, timeless and suitable for all ages. Totally recommended for the price despite its lack of originality.
In my opinion, it’s excellent. Affordable price and great performance. I recommend it.

RV Pure smells amazing and delivers on both longevity and value. It’s one of those EDTs that give you more for your money. From the very first use, everyone asks about this rich, fresh scent. It lasts over twelve hours, though it does depend on individual skin chemistry. It’s worth the risk to own it because you won’t regret it. Forget about whether it smells like other perfumes; every creator makes their own unique mark, and this Italian masterpiece is grand.
RV Pure really smells great; if it reminds you of another, well, it delivers. It offers excellent longevity and value, giving you more than you pay for. From the first use, everyone asks about this rich, fresh scent. It lasts over twelve hours, though it varies depending on individual skin pH. It’s worth the risk to add it to your collection because you won’t regret it. Forget about it smelling like something else; every creator makes their own unique and irreplicable work, and this Italian fragrance is magnificent.
I was told it smelled like L’Eau d’Issey, but it’s more of a clone of Essenza di Zegna with its own certified Italian twist. It’s reminiscent of Hugo Boss but better, featuring delicious citrus and a very fresh vibe. I fell in love at first sniff. I grabbed the 150ml size for the price of a 100ml, a win for my wallet. Highly recommended.
Fresh aroma perfect for spring and summer with a sporty touch. If you’re looking for something special and unique, this won’t surprise you much; at first, it smells almost like Axe Marine deodorant, but then it dries down to leave sweeter notes.
