Descripción

Reaction for Her by Kenneth Cole is a fruity floral fragrance for women. Launched in 2005, the nose behind this composition is Laurent Le Guernec. The top notes unfold with melon, grapefruit, watermelon, apple, mandarin, and raspberry; the heart reveals valley lily, jasmine, orchid, and violet leaves; while the base notes close the olfactory pyramid with cotton candy, musk, vetiver, and white amber.

  • It’s a floral-fruit blend, more floral than fruity, with lots of watermelon. Very feminine, perfect for daily and casual wear. It suits all ages and situations without being intrusive, though it leaves a moderate trail. It’s fresh in the heat. Besides watermelon, it smells like soft lily of the valley, violet leaves, grapefruit, melon, a bit of lychee, and cotton candy. I see it as perfect for school, the office, lunch, or the gym. If you don’t like fruit like I do, this will suit you great. It’s one of those fragrances that doesn’t offend anyone. I picture it with classic, simple clothes, like basic Kenneth Cole.

  • I love this perfume. I bought it blind because it was cheap and the salesperson recommended it, and she was right. I adore watermelon in perfumes, and this one has it in spades.

Starts with a dizzying alcohol hit, then settles into creamy melon with jasmine and cotton candy. The men’s version smells better and is more wearable; this is a sweet, clean sport fragrance that doesn’t kill me but doesn’t make me fall in love either. The bottle is heavy glass and the spray works well. It lasts over three hours with a trail, but you notice it fades when a breeze passes. I wouldn’t buy it again because the melon note doesn’t work for me; it smells like Nivea body cream. Edit: People are going crazy for this, and it hurts my head—expensive ones don’t affect me as much, and everyone loves it. I gave it to my mom who prefers heavier scents.
