Clinique Happy Heart 2003 by Clinique is a floral chypre fragrance for women. Launched in 2003, this composition was created by Christophe Laudamiel and Olivier Polge. It smells clean, very good. It reminds me of a green soap I can’t remember the name of, but it makes me feel super refreshed, yes I recommend it. I thought it lasted more than 6 hours and people said it projected a lot and smelled fantastic.
Hi, it smells super clean, like a green soap I can’t remember which one it was, but it leaves me super refreshed. I recommend it. It lasted me more than 6 hours and people said it projected a ton, that it smelled amazing.
I loved Happy Heart and wore it for two years in a row. Its revitalizing scent made me feel exactly like its name: HAPPY, injecting optimism, energy, and joy. Just like its notes indicate, it’s a perfume with a very simple structure, but that’s where its charm lies. The notes that flooded my nose were cucumber and tangerine; I couldn’t perceive anything else, but for me, that was enough for Happy Heart to capture me. I see it worn by many young women, for daytime, informal, and summer use. Strong sillage and longevity. Rating 8/10.
I’ve been with Happy Heart for two years; its scent revitalized me and I felt like the name: HAPPY, injecting optimism and energy. It’s simple, but that’s where its charm lies. What I noticed most was cucumber and tangerine, I didn’t sense anything else, but it captivated me. I see it on many young women, daily use, informal, summer. Strong sillage and longevity. I give it 8/10.
This perfume brings a lot of energy and vitality, waking up the mood to go out, play, and have fun. It’s an energizing scent, like a giant bouquet of hyacinth with super fresh cucumber and tangerine and a tiny bit of sweetness. I’m referring to the original formula from the early 2000s, which is a true gem; just two sprays are enough to feel it all day. The new formula, although with a different bottle, smells similar but lacks the power and presence of the original, as if they took away its vitality.
This perfume recharges your batteries.
It takes me back to the 90s and makes me think of Lacoste polos, pearl earrings, the brand Chipie, very proper but boring teenagers. And this is what I think this perfume smells like: it smells good, but I find it boring. It’s a day and summer aquatic-floral, but not as refreshing as I expected. It also lacks great longevity and sillage. I think Tommy Girl, the original Happy, or Rochas Sensuelle are in the same line, and I find them fresher, more recognizable, and better performing. I’ll use it, but it doesn’t speak to me.
What a rich perfume! Smells clean and lasts forever. It fixes super well. I don’t smell cucumber, but rather tangerine and an aquatic note that must be hyacinth. It’s super fresh for hot days, to feel full of energy with a scent that lasts several hours. I sense a resemblance to Trussardi’s Delicate Rose.
Joy. Gem. Laughter. It’s a kind, easy, and very appreciated scent. I thought the composition would be full of flowers, but I was surprised to find carrot, cucumber, and wood instead. The tangerine is very identifiable, as in all the Happy fragrances from the house, but this one is special. It’s the original Happy developed further, with more depth, nuances, and warmth. It’s a warmer variant than the others, possessing a fun, bouncy sweetness. Another perfume with a very fitting name: Happy <3
One of the most potent fresh citrus scents I know. It lasts several hours on skin and the projection is excellent. The cucumber and tangerine stand out and last until the end. It has luxury-level fixatives. If you like fresh and sparkling scents, this is a total hit.
One of the most potent fresh citrus perfumes I know. It lasts several hours on the skin and has amazing projection. The cucumber and tangerine are the notes that stand out the most and last until the very end. Undoubtedly, the composition has excellent fixatives. For those who love fresh, sparkling scents, this is a hit from any angle.
I owned it. It stayed on my skin quite well and projected, which isn’t usual (I have pale, slightly dry skin, just in case it helps anyone). I was quite surprised. The cucumber stands out a lot in a floral base; it’s fresh, but you have to use it carefully—overapplying can be overwhelming. For me, it’s suitable for all seasons. Edit: I wanted to add that it feels like a fresh floral but has body; it’s not a light perfume as one might think. A few sprays are enough, and it has good longevity for me: about 5 hours… but with this perfume, it happens that after a while I don’t smell it myself, but other people do. I want to buy it again.
I tried it. It sat well on my skin and projects, something unusual (I have fair and somewhat dry skin, just in case it helps). I was surprised. You can smell the cucumber over a floral base; it’s fresh but needs to be used carefully, if you overdo it it becomes overwhelming. For me, it’s good for all year. Edit: It’s a fresh floral but it has body, it’s not light. A few drops are enough, it lasts about 5 hours… for me it happened that after that I couldn’t smell it on myself, but others could. I would buy it again.
This perfume is delicious, so different from the other citrus scents I own (and I have quite a few). It has an aquatic touch that blends with the grapefruit for a delightful result. It’s soft, feminine, and cheerful—just like the name, it fills you with happiness when you wear it. It lasts a long time; after a while, I don’t perceive it myself, but others do, especially on clothes.
I was blown away by this perfume. I gave it to my sister as a blind gift two months ago. She already likes the regular Happy, but this one suits her perfectly. It’s more floral and clean, with that special cucumber note that makes it super fresh and almost aquatic. It reminds me of Polo Blue—same vibe, but clearly feminine. The longevity is insane; she came over today wearing it, and even after hours, I could still smell it perfectly from the other side of the dining room.
This perfume really surprised me. I gifted it to my sister a couple of months ago; it was a blind buy. I only had the regular Happy as a reference (which I also like quite a bit), but this one stands out on the street. It’s a more floral, clean composition with that special cucumber touch that makes it fresher, almost aquatic. It reminds me a lot of Polo Blue—it has the same vibe, but it definitely feels feminine. Its performance is excellent; my sister wore it yesterday, and after several hours, I could still smell it perfectly from across the dining room.
I was super curious about this perfume after reading the reviews, so I decided to buy a decant to try it. The truth is, even though it’s fresh and long-lasting, after several tries, I just can’t stand it; the cucumber note gives me nausea and headaches.
I’d been wanting to try it for a while due to the great reviews, so I bought a decant. It’s fresh and long-lasting, but after several tries, I can’t take it anymore; the cucumber note gives me nausea and headaches.
I absolutely love this perfume. It’s so unique, very fresh, and despite that, it lasts. It’s not feminine; it’s enchanting. It was the first perfume I liked as a teenager, and it remains one of my favorites. Even though I have many similar fresh scents, this will always have a special place in my heart.
I bought it just for the reviews and notes. I already knew the regular Happy and liked it, so I was curious about this version. What a beautiful scent—super fresh, clean, and pleasant, with great projection and trail, plus it lasts a long time. Yes, the peeled cucumber can be a bit overwhelming since it’s noticeable from start to finish, but when I run out, I’ll definitely buy it again, and it’s not that expensive.
This is my go-to perfume. No one leaves without saying ‘wow.’ It smells fresh but hits hard. I first smelled it at 12—my aunt from Canada brought it and gifted it to me. Now I’m 32, and I always repurchase it. It’s unique. To me, it smells like a cheerful, fresh woman, like a redhead girl in a flower field, wearing jeans and barefoot, feeling the sun. It’s a colorful, free-spirited woman with a happy heart. A true gem.
I loved this version; the cucumber note was super clear, and on my skin, the trail and longevity were a perfect 10.
