Radical Brown by Armaf

Smells like fruity caramel and amber, but in my opinion it’s too feminine and youthful. It leaves JP Gaultier’s Ultra-male feeling like a silver-backed macho aroma. It has as much tobacco as Creed Aventus with leather notes. The guys smoke lacquer. The best part is the price. Let’s pull back a stupid veil… it’s Arabic.

I love it; it’s rare they don’t mention how good it smells. I prefer it to Alhambra’s Hercules. It has excellent value for money; Armaf really hits the mark, though my favorite is Niche Oud (which is hard to find).

Radical Brown Armaf Part 2: I’m writing again about this fragrance. When I first used it, I thought it had a sweetness like chocolate, that was my impression; I also commented that its performance was very poor. I used it again to verify if I still think the same. It still gives me that chocolate impression, or as Alejandro84 says, like a brownie, and now I’ve rediscovered its scent, and it seemed very good to me. Now I could really appreciate it in depth, and it’s definitely a purebred gourmand, a lovely perfume where night and cold climates unite radically in a captivating aroma. As for performance, it improved a lot in longevity; I still perceive it, and it’s been over 8 hours. Its projection remains somewhat discreet but perceptible for about 2 hours. The user before me mentioned nothing about chocolate, that we haven’t seen it or know it, only by hearsay. In response to his comment: Yes, I know chocolate, I’ve eaten it for many years of my life, I’ve smelled it countless times, and just to clarify, I never mentioned this perfume smells like chocolate; I said I felt a sweetness like chocolate, and I stand by that, it still gives me that impression. I just want to mention, independently of the different opinions on this perfume, that there are ways to express ourselves without being rude or aggressive. Chocolate??? This guy hasn’t seen chocolate in a photo; it’s based on tobacco like Herod or Pulse of the Night without being an obvious clone. I had a 2020 batch that performed quite well, but with the other two mentioned, it seemed too much of the same style… but I repeat, this guy hasn’t seen chocolate nor knows it by hearsay.

Radical Brown Armaf: Finally, it arrived. The scent is good, in the line of perfumes like Hugo Boss The Scent Absolute or Marly’s Herod; it’s undoubtedly a rich aroma, warm from the amber and that sweetness that isn’t cloying like chocolate. The tobacco is fine and subtle; it’s an aroma for winter or cool nights, for personal or intimate enjoyment, very close to your partner, because frankly, its trail doesn’t even reach moderate; it’s weak. 2 sprays on the wrist, and still, you have to bring your nose close to perceive it; it leaves almost no trail. Scent: 9.0. Projection: 5/10. Longevity: Max 6 hours.
