A fresh, citrusy, and herbal perfume, better suited for mild days than cold ones. Reminds me of CK One in its citrus notes. Ideal for heading to the beach or after the gym. After a few minutes, it smells of bergamot with vetiver and musk softening it. Jasmine adds the floral note, while moss gives it a subtle chypre touch.

  • I used it today after a long time, and for the first time, it reminded me of Givenchy’s Insense. It must be the blend of blackcurrants, bergamot, and jasmine (even though Givenchy doesn’t list blackcurrant, the abundance of florals gives me that impression). It’s a good option for the price and quite original within the mainstream, though it might seem outdated or jarring to some (my wife hates it).

  • Smells good, correct, and hassle-free. Starts citrusy, slightly sour and bitter from the blackcurrants, with amber coming through quickly. After half an hour, the citrus fades and the flowers, along with the apple, add extra sweetness. The amber lingers until the end with musk and moss. It’s not meant to grab attention or earn compliments, but it works perfectly for daily office wear. I’ve tested it in both heat and cold; it performs much better in the cold, as heat can make it bothersome. Projects well for the first two or three hours and lasts comfortably between ten and twelve hours. Ideal for men over thirty with a great price-to-quality ratio.

  • Nice citrusy and pleasant scent with a sharp, almost metallic edge. Phenomenal for smelling good without bothering anyone at the office. I alternate it with Zara Silver when I want this kind of aroma. I like it, and the price is acceptable.

  • I never really cared for Quartz for Men before; I saw it as cheap and assumed I wouldn’t like it. Over time, comparing it to Insense (which I adore), I got curious and headed to the perfumerie. Nowadays, they rarely stock old testers due to reformulation complaints, but this place kept the vintage Quartz, which was a blessing because I fell in love with that version. I tried the current one, and while they’re similar at first, the new base is weaker and less developed. It’s not a disaster, just softer and slightly lower quality. The vintage Quartz (1995) opens with sweet bergamot, blackcurrants, and galbanum. Then green apple takes the spotlight, adding freshness and lightness before it becomes more voluptuous. The clove is subtle, almost imperceptible, fading into the woods where vetiver stands out. It’s sparkling, fresh, woody, with a floral bouquet that doesn’t go unnoticed. Labdanum shines as it dries, blending with musk and amber for total exquisiteness; it’s my favorite part, featuring a fabulous dry-down where the galbanum is still noticeable. Does it smell like Insense? They seem to speak the same language, but Quartz is more radiant while Insense is more intense. Notes of tangerine, basil, lavender, and a coniferous base make Givenchy’s more complex. Both play with fruity, floral, woody, and herbal elements, and although they share blackcurrants, the rest of the notes make the difference. Quartz Pour Homme is a great option to evoke Insense, even if it doesn’t replace it. Magnificent fragrance.

  • My aunt gifted me this perfume when I was a teenager, and I loved it, though it’s more suited for mature men. It’s not overpowering at all—very discreet, classic, and perfect for the office. Works great during the day, though it might be a bit too subtle for night. The amber note reminds me of Azzaro. It’s affordable, sold even in pharmacies, and while it’s not widely known, it’s a fantastic option if you’re looking for something budget-friendly and uncommon.

  • My aunt gifted this to me when I was a teenager and I liked it, though it’s more suited for mature men. It’s not a strong scent—quite subtle, classic, and office-appropriate. Works well during the day, but it’s a bit too light for evening; the amber note reminds me of something Azzaro-esque. It’s affordable, sold even in pharmacies, and for some reason isn’t very well-known. A great option for anyone looking for something budget-friendly and uncommon.

  • A flawless classic that holds its own against the big brands. It sits in the same league as Van Cleef’s Tsar, Cardon Parera, or Azzaro Pour Homme, but with less intensity. A true gem.

  • A timeless classic that holds its own against the big-name brands. It sits somewhere between Van Cleef’s Tsar, Cardon Parera, and Azzaro Pour Homme, but with less punch. A true gem.

  • Delicious. Fresh, soft, and woody. Smells clean. Perfect for every day without annoying anyone.

Classic citrus from another era. If I didn’t have another option, I’d keep it in my collection. Simple, masculine, and mature, especially for men over 40. The price is great.

  • I used to wear it in the 2010s. The best part was the price and that formal, serious woody aroma, nothing old-fashioned. Yesterday in 2024 I tried it in a store and noticed they reformulated it. The opening and heart now have an exaggerated lemon note and they cut down on the woods. Only the dry-down resembles the original. I stopped buying it because I didn’t like the change, but it lasts a long time and isn’t ugly, so try it for the ridiculously low price of a French fragrance.

  • After reading that some said it’s similar to Givenchy’s Insensé, I was intrigued and tried it. I agree; it brings back sweet memories of the 90s and my youth. I bought it for the low price. It has good longevity and projection, I see it more for fall/spring, and it tends to be unisex. Wearing this perfume feels like reviving golden times.

  • I bought it blind and loved it. Smells clean, soft, and creamy. It’s cheap but masculine and youthful, maybe perfect for young guys to wear daily at school or college. Gives off a clean, masculine scent without being overpowering. I use it every day after a shower.

  • Smells strong for the first two hours and then lasts about three more. I liked it. Perfect for going out to eat or to quiet, enclosed places.

  • Good vintage, a classic representative of the 90s. The current version lacks some punch, but a few sprays fix that. It’s not expensive; it’s French low-cost, so it’s a luxury within reach. It doesn’t smell like anything specific; it just has that classic 90s vibe. People say it’s like Givenchy’s Insensé, but I’ve never tried it, so I can’t say for sure.

  • Reminds me of the 90s, though I think it’s timeless. Starts with a slightly spicy citrus, then something fruity, a very light touch of jasmine and clove, and finally a rich, soft amber. Works well in temperate climates, elegant yet pleasant. Average performance. Top quality for the price. I absolutely love it; I had one years ago and now it smells more synthetic—the quality isn’t the same.

  • Excellent mature citrus, woody, with a leather base. Projects responsibility and confidence. The citrus isn’t sharp; it’s balanced with the heavier notes. Ideal for men over 30, for the office or daily wear. Not super formal but fits perfectly. When it dries down, it leaves a musky base with an amber touch.

  • Lasts about 5 to 6 hours, perfect for going out at night or to enclosed spaces! You can really tell it’s there.
