I used to love Puzzle colognes and those glitter versions that smelled amazing, especially the yellow one with that lemon-like touch.
I left it forgotten at my mom’s house, and after I insisted, she gave it to me even though she hated it. When I tried it, I was surprised I didn’t like it either, and worse, it gives me a brutal headache. It smells fresh, green, and aquatic, but it ends up being sharp, synthetic, and linear; if you’re not hooked on the opening, forget about the hours that follow. What I detect is valley lily, freshly cut grass, and a bitter rather than sweet fruity base. The longevity is average, about 5-6 hours. Ideal for spring and summer, daytime, and 100% feminine. I had my mom’s forgotten bottle and asked her to let me keep it to try it and write a review. She said, ‘Keep it, it doesn’t smell good to me at all.’ I kept it but was surprised she disliked it until I smelled it closely and had to admit I don’t like it either. It’s not just that; it gives me a terrible headache… You can imagine what I suffered to write this. It smells fresh, super green, and aquatic. This wouldn’t be a problem if it weren’t a sharp, synthetic (in a bad way) and fairly linear fragrance, so if you don’t like the opening, I doubt you’ll like it hours later. What I notice most is valley lily, green notes like freshly cut grass, and a fruity base that’s more bitter than sweet. The longevity is decent, average, lasting its 5-6 hours. For those who like it, I see it as ideal for spring and summer, definitely for daytime and 100% feminine.
