Okay, I get it. It’s a very potent, tactile, and realistic talc. Alright, I know it has its fans, but is it one of the bestsellers at Laconicum? Look, girl, Pure Talc lives up to its name: it’s an ultra-short-lived opening that smells like sunscreen or cleaning spray, then turns into a monotonous, chewy, super powdery scent, like an old bottle of makeup from the Ausonia era. I don’t see much appeal in it, and honestly, it kind of makes me sad… The longevity is moderate, the sillage is average, and I wouldn’t buy it for the life of me.
Pure Talc is a perfect blend of that extreme cleanliness, almost like wearing pure talc, and the soft sweetness of vanilla. While it’s not as refined or versatile as other talc-based perfumes, like Teint de Neige, it’s ideal for achieving that fresh, soft feeling right after a hot shower.
