I had high expectations for the classic Pure Seduction since it was a favorite spray for many, but for me, it was too strong, even giving me a headache, and I just can’t tolerate it. On the other hand, the cream is softer, fresher, and gourmand without being cloying. I detect freesia, custard, and a citrus note. Honestly, I liked it much more than the classic version.
This collection is gorgeous: a super sweet and sugary take on the classic Pure Seduction with incredible longevity (it lasts me forever). I wore it alone and it projected beautifully; with the cream, it’s a strawberry bomb that got me several compliments.
I bought the splash for the gardenia scent, and you can definitely tell, though the trail is moderate. It’s floral and sweet, perfect for everyday wear. I used it with the splash and the cream, but the cream barely smells. In short, it smells like being in a garden of gardenias.
