  Major disappointment: I love the strawberry and vanilla notes, but it doesn’t smell like cake. It smells like intense artificial strawberry syrup. No vanilla at all. It’s too synthetic for me. It saddens me because other scents from the brand, like Blueberry Bundt Cake or Iced Lemon Pound Cake, are well-executed. Maybe it was reformulated; I want to try an earlier version, but I can’t find any without that horrible syrup smell.

  Smells like terrible cough syrup 😔. Do not buy blindly for anything in the world. It doesn’t smell like strawberry or dessert, just expired cough syrup. The opening and dry down give you nausea and a headache 🫠.

  One of my favorites in the world: literally a strawberry cake with whipped cream. Lasts a good while, an hour of projection, then an amazing vanilla dry-down. My partner thinks I baked a cake. For me, it’s a 10/10, highly recommended.

  I bought it recently and at first, I found it too sugary and cloying. I love sweet perfumes, and this is one of them—it smells like a strawberry brioche with whipped cream. It performs well, but in the heat it’s overwhelming and gives me a headache. I love it, but it’s better in cooler climates.

  Great that they reformulated it! Before, it smelled like very sour strawberry yogurt; now it smells more artificial, with more vanilla and whipped cream coming through. Now it gives me a vibe similar to my beloved Pink Sugar.

  What a pity they reformulated it for the worse. I have the 2021/2022 version, and it smells much more like a little strawberry cake, lasting way longer. Now it’s more strawberry than cake, with no power or longevity. I hope they make it like before again.

  Along with Kayali’s Vanilla 28, this is my favorite scent in the world. It’s rare for a perfume to last on me, but this body mist with the lotion lasts 6 hours. I love the sponge cake vibe; I’m 33, and this along with Cloud are my daily scents. It’s like a freshly baked cake with lots of whipped cream—not suitable for those who don’t like sweet things.

  This is now my number one fragrance; my favorite notes are all in this bottle 🥰. It’s a youthful, feminine, delicate, addictive, and super gourmand scent. If you’re looking for something milky and edible, this is it. I’m head over heels ❤️ and will keep repurchasing it over and over.

  I’m disappointed. I don’t know if it’s my skin’s pH, but this body mist just doesn’t work for me anymore. I used to love it; it smelled like an amazing strawberry pastry. Now, it’s repulsive, synthetic, and overwhelming. It seems like not only did they change the packaging, but they probably reformulated it too, since it barely lasts on the skin.

It used to be my favorite, a delicious shortcake with strawberry scent; now it’s repulsive, synthetic, and overwhelming. From what I see, not only did the packaging change, but I believe it’s been reformulated, as it doesn’t last at all on the skin.

  I was expecting a slightly artificial strawberry scent, and honestly, it does smell synthetic, but not in a bad way. It smells like sweet strawberry yogurt (I associate it a lot with the Samba strawberry chocolate from Venezuela here). It smells delicious and I’ve gotten so many compliments, though I would have loved to feel something closer to vanilla, cream, or actual pound cake; but I still really like it. It lasts about an hour on a hot day, but up to four hours in moderate weather. I see it as super perfect for cold climates; it’s also great for layering.

  I think I have a very different opinion from everyone else; personally, I don’t like it much. To me, it smells like strawberry syrup, a bit chemical and artificial. Yes, it’s sweet and gourmand, but I want to feel the presence of a strawberry cake—sweet with butter and jam, which seems to be a delight according to many. However, all I get is medicinal strawberry. It maintains a linear scent, although the longevity, like most B&BW mists, is about two hours without much projection. As for when to use it, I recommend using it in colder months. I’ll try combining it with body creams with vanilla and strawberry notes to see if it works better. For now, I don’t think I’ll repurchase it. Definitely not for everyone.

  This is the sweetest and creamiest body mist in my collection. It’s like a vanilla cake with strawberry jam and whipped cream; it also reminds me of vanilla cookies with strawberry cream. It has a great trail and longevity, surpassing four hours. I recommend it for gourmand lovers.

  This body splash was the second one I owned from Bath & Body Works; I used it a lot when I got it and never got tired of it. Now, since it’s a sweet gourmand scent, I only use it in winter and fall; I’ve tried it in the heat and honestly, I didn’t like it; it gets cloying at high temperatures. Maybe for summer or spring evenings when it’s a bit cooler. I don’t smell much cake to it; it reminds me of white chocolate filled with strawberries and a bit of sour yogurt. It’s from the Orly brand in Chile 🇨🇱, unfortunately it’s discontinued ;(. This body splash lasts all day; its fixation is incredible; highly recommended if you have to have it and you love dessert scents 🧁.

  One of my favorites, though I expected a bit more. It’s not the same as ‘Raspberry Jam Donut’—they’re different but from the same line. If you’re from Mexico, think ‘Suavicremas’; this smells like ‘Strawberry Pound Cake’ literally. Perfect for sweet/gourmand lovers. Clearly feminine, best for winter, spring, and fall, and daytime. Good longevity for a body mist, though less than a perfume, so you’ll need to reapply. I’m surprised it lasts 5-6 hours with a nice sillage (depends on pH); you’ll definitely get compliments. I love that B&W creates complex, distinct scents, even if the price is sometimes steep. I recommend waiting for online promotions or going to the store to test it, though it’s hard to find and the price is exaggerated.

  In my opinion, it doesn’t smell like strawberry shortcake. I wanted to give it a chance, and when I saw it, I was very excited, but all that excitement went down the drain when I tried it. I noticed a cheesecake scent, not a shortcake. Also, I didn’t find any strawberry anywhere; I don’t know if it’s different at each BBW, but for me, it’s a no. I’m still looking for a perfume that smells like milk, shortcake, and strawberries.

  To me, it smells exactly like strawberry Suavicremas. It’s too sweet, really sweet. At first, I hated it because I only smelled sugar and no strawberry, but eventually, I got used to it and it’s now my favorite. I wish the strawberry were stronger since the sugary scent overpowers it. On my skin, it doesn’t last more than 5 minutes; I only get an hour with body cream.

  Wow, this mist is delicious; my favorite from my entire purchase. It’s super sweet and smells like a Gansito with jam and whipped cream, so delicious! I love applying it at home because it doesn’t last long or have much sillage, haha, but it’s recommended if you love mega gourmand fragrances and want to smell like strawberry cake. The scent on body cream becomes a bit chemical after a while, but I think that’s common.

I love using it at home to enjoy it, even though it doesn’t last long or have much sillage, haha. Recommended if you like gourmand scents and want to smell like strawberry cake.   Oh my god, what a delicious fragrance! Out of everything I ordered from BBW, this was definitely my favorite. It’s super sweet, tooth-irritating, gourmand, and absolutely delicious. It opens with sweet strawberry; honestly, I don’t feel it’s synthetic like others say, nor entirely natural; then the creaminess of the whipped cream joins the cake. Here in Mexico, there’s a treat called ‘NUCITA’, a vanilla, chocolate, and strawberry dessert. This smells exactly like the strawberry and vanilla NUCITA. So good. I’ll order more because it’s extremely exquisite. It’s strange there’s only one review for this beautiful baby ❤️. I recommend buying it blind if you love super sweet perfumes. 100% recommended. I love it.
