Is the Veneziano the brother of the American? Clearly inspired (like many others) by Tom Ford’s Tuscan Leather, but a bit softer. It’s a great idea for a sniff: mixing raspberry with leather gives a great final result without spending a fortune. It’s a black, oily, tarred, and smoky leather that becomes interesting once the raspberry, woody notes, and a light vanilla touch come into play. Elegant, deep, and versatile, it’s a creation that immerses you in an olfactory fantasy, opening up into an interweaving of elegant spices and voluptuous, velvet, aromatic, and fruity caresses. The base of this EDP Concentrée version transforms into something dark and intense—a blend of precious woods, dense resins, and vanilla touches that amplify the leather’s strength, offering impressive performance. If you want to add some personality and elegance to your collection, this is a more than interesting option to consider.

I tried this perfume and others in the leather category, but for me, the scent of leather is different. To be honest, this Pure Leather isn’t just skin; it smells like wet, burning wood and oriental spices, with that signature dirty oud vibe. I don’t know Tuscan Leather, but I do know the Heritage Oud from Beverly Hills Polo Club, which is said to smell very similar to Tom Ford’s, and to my nose, it smells just like this Pure Leather. Sure, the Heritage is more synthetic, but at 20 euros, the difference is huge. Neither one really works for me, so everyone has to judge for themselves. As I said, it’s a quality fragrance with realistic scents, good evolution, and it’s potent (but not unpleasant, so feel free to try it). As for longevity, 8-10 hours with two sprays on the wrist, with strong projection for the first two hours. Au revoir! (courtesy of Jerry Drake)

I smelled this perfume and others in the leather category, and I’ll say it again: for me, leather should smell different. This Pure Leather, don’t be fooled, doesn’t just smell of skin; it smells like wet, burning wood, oriental spices, and that dirty scent typical of oud fragrances. I don’t know Tuscan Leather, but I know the Heritage Oud from Beverly Hills Polo Club, which is said to smell very much like Tom Ford’s, and to my nose, it smells exactly like this Pure Leather. Sure, the Heritage Oud is more synthetic, but at 20 euros, the difference is enormous. I don’t like either one, so let everyone decide for themselves. As I said, it’s a quality fragrance with realistic scents, good evolution, and it’s strong (but not unpleasant, so feel free to try it). As for longevity: 8-10 hours with two sprays on the wrist, with clear projection for the first two hours. Au revoir! (courtesy of Jerry Drake)
