Pleasures Intense is still the deal of the moment, leaving all other florals in the dust without mercy, not even for its own sister. I have a bottle that’s almost fifteen years old, a bit aged, but that floral poison remains intact and ready to strike. I wore it two weeks ago to run, and someone told me I smelled like fields and flowers wherever I went (a meadow full of them), but when I smelled myself, I knew it was me… for sure. It opens green and floral, especially with a devilish lily that crosses mountains and, with the heat, turns into a neurotoxin. I’ve never seen a floral this potent, with such projection, longevity, and an out-of-this-world sillage. It works all year, but be careful in summer. It never smells like bleach or painful aldehydes; it’s pure floral power. The lily and peony aim very high; they should have called it ‘caution’ in front, not behind. If you wear it in the morning half-asleep, you’ll be floating on clouds, looking like a Simpson, skipping stop signs and curbs until you arrive. The trick: one spray 30 cm from the neck. I keep it to admire its purity and prove that when they want to, they can, though for an innocent yet intense floral, I prefer its less intransigent sister, but I have respect for it because it will soon be a relic with the current state of florals.

Tiaré, jasmine, lily of the valley… flowers with special and strong scents. These are the literary gardens: Jane Eyre, The Secret Garden, Emma… concentrated. I discovered it in Venice, drawn by the fuchsia and wine, and stayed.

It’s very beastly; it lacks softness and roundness. I’m halfway through the bottle and don’t know if I’ll finish it. I like florals in summer, but the opening is a floral slap in the face. I think it should be calmer and silkier (without being creamy or soapy, which I can’t stand in florals, nor too sweet). It’s okay but tiring.

I’ve had this for years and noticed newer batches are calmer than what I remember, but they’re still an absolute delight of a feminine floral. I loved it so much I brought it back from abroad since it’s unavailable here; it was crazy, but every euro was worth it.

Smells like a banquet, very intense and sweet-floral, perfect for romantic dates. In summer, only at night and in moderation. The scent sticks to you a lot and lasts for hours.

If you want people to smell you from afar and ask what you’re wearing, this is it. A scandalous and exquisite floral that screams your presence.

Sensual, delicate, sweet, and very fresh. My husband gifted it to me, and I loved it from the first spritz. It’s very floral but nothing heavy.

It’s addictive; if you ask me what smells like spring, I’d say this. It has great longevity and leaves a trail. It’s one of my staples.
