Dried strawberry smoking until it goes out in hot saltpeter, ready to ignite into gunpowder. Everything explodes: soot, charcoal, electric sparks, and acetone vapors. What remains is smoky, salty ash with a hint of strawberry and a nice oil, perfect for celery. The second version: freshly shredded tires with acetone running over new pavement, creating ozone with minty and green notes. Testing a Tauer version under Parfums Sophiste. There’s nothing left of Andy’s lyrics anymore. The main thing is gunpowder and ash. The closest relative is 1805 Tonnerre and Vio-volta. I barely sense green notes; there are issues with the earthy aspect. On skin, it softens, shifting from salty to a slightly sweet rubber. Oh, Andy! What’s going on?… The third version (after some time): a very dry tobacco leaf or something of that vigorous, spicy dryness, almost absolute, ground and dusty, with industrial incense, equally dry and caustic.
