Super delicate and uniquely my scent. Nothing of those intense ones that tend to overwhelm a room; it’s subtle, fresh, and feminine, perfect for everyday wear without saving it for parties. It opens with a grape note like a scraped or slushy fruit, very fruity, then moves to a fleeting violet that’s powdery and soap-free. It’s clean and sublime. After a few hours, the musk and sandalwood come out strong. It evokes a shy but determined woman, neat and leaving traces without trying, like smelling a flower kept in a book. The first day was incredible: my husband, who rarely compliments me, said ‘you always smell good,’ which is his highest praise. I also let my daughter try it, and she asked for the bottle immediately (I left it at her disposal, of course). It’s not a wow perfume, but I love it. It’s captivating, like a bride on her wedding day: sublime, feminine, delicate, moving without a fuss, and everyone turns to look. Ideal all year round, comfortable. It lasts 6-7 hours with moderate sillage: you walk in your perfumed aura without overwhelming anyone.
It belongs to my favorite olfactory family: a floral woody musk. It’s a fresh, fruity floral bouquet—juicy and sparkling with pear, tangerine, and bergamot that quickly yield to violet, the flower of this lovely bottle. It’s not like Guerlain’s Insolence; it’s less dominant, perfectly balanced with the fruits for a special, delicate, fresh, and feminine blend. The base becomes creamy thanks to sandalwood and musk. It’s not a head-turner and sometimes gives me the same vibe as Guerlain’s Irresistible once it dries down. Perfect for everyday wear and any occasion, which is exactly what I was looking for. It lasted about 6 hours on my skin with many sprays and has moderate to soft projection.
A very delicate and special aroma for me. It’s not the typical intense or head-turning scent the house offers, so start imagining something subtle, fresh, and feminine for frequent wear. Nothing reserved for special occasions; this scent can be worn daily. It opens with a kind of grape slushy or scraped candy, very fruity, then yields to a very volatile violet, nothing powdery, not sharp, nor leaning towards a soapy side. It’s clean and sublime. In the base, after a few hours, the musk and sandalwood notes add their strokes, becoming stronger and stronger. To me, it feels like a perfume worthy of a shy but determined woman, neat and careful, a woman who, without trying, leaves traces. Those who keep a nice flower inside a book and smell it from time to time to revive certain memories. My first day with this perfume was incredible; it brought compliments from my husband, who doesn’t always enjoy what I wear or flatter me often, but when he says ‘you always smell good,’ it means he passed his personal filter, and this was the case. During that first day of use, I also let my daughter try it, and she immediately said, ‘Mom, I want to take this bottle.’ Of course, I didn’t allow her to kidnap the fragrance right out of the box, but I let her have it whenever she wanted. I don’t think it’s an extraordinary or wow-out-of-this-world perfume, but it has something I love. It’s captivating, like a bride on her wedding day, sublime, worthy of admiration, feminine, delicate, moving without making a scene, yet everyone turns to admire its beauty. Ideal for all year round, it’s comfortable. So far, it lasts about 6-7 hours with moderate sillage. Let’s say you’re in your perfumed aura, but you don’t overwhelm anyone.
This fragrance belongs to my favorite olfactive family: Floral Woody Musky. It’s a floral bouquet with fresh and fruity notes that comes out very juicy and sparkling with the pear, mandarin, and bergamot, quickly giving way to the violet, the flower that inspired the color of this beautiful bottle. No, it doesn’t lean towards Guerlain’s Insolence as one might think; it’s not so exclusive or dominant. It’s very well balanced with the fruits, and the mix of these with the violet makes it very special, delicate, fresh, and feminine. By the base, it becomes creamier thanks to the sandalwood and musk. It’s not here to turn heads, and at times it transmitted the same vibe as Guerlain’s Irresistible when dry. Ideal for daily wear and all types of use, which is what I’m currently looking for. It lasted about 6 hours on my skin with plenty of sprays and had moderate to soft projection.
It wasn’t for me, but if you’re looking for a perfume that smells like those violet heart candies, this is it. It smells exactly like that sugary, powdery… violet aroma. Lasts about 6 hours with moderate-to-low sillage.
I have a decant of several Marley and Palatine perfumes, and this one didn’t make my favorites. Honestly, I had high expectations since I love violets; I imagined the combination with pear and vanilla would give it that sweet touch I adore, but it didn’t. While it is sweet, it’s not potent, has little sillage, and poor longevity. Compared to Delina or Delina Exclusive, Oriana, or Casilli, which I absolutely love, this fragrance fell short.
Wonderful! Elegant, not overwhelming… comfortable. It says: ‘I’m a high-end perfume, but I won’t hit you over the head with it.’ I confess I have a love-hate relationship with violets. If they’re overly sweet like candy, they overwhelm me and turn me off, but when this delicate fragrance combines with musk, bergamot, and lavender to achieve that delicately green caress, it becomes irresistible. It’s a perfect balance where it doesn’t overwhelm but also doesn’t go unnoticed. As I said, it’s wonderful, but I’m not sure how well it will perform in the market because people are obsessed with leaving a trail that stretches half a kilometer; in my opinion, that’s a misuse of perfume. For that, you already have room sprays. If a perfume is conceived as elegant, it needs a touch of sobriety and intimacy.
I just want to say it doesn’t resemble Catch Me by Cacharel (which I love and still have a bottle of); it’s nothing alike. They don’t even share notes, so please don’t get fooled by that comparison. Try it yourself.
Not worth the cost. If it’s a pretty scent, after two hours you can’t smell it anymore. It stays close to the skin and lasts about five minutes, nothing more.
Yes, it smells nice and pleasant, but the packaging is another story. Upon applying it to my skin, I smelled mandarin and pear at first, followed by violet, vanilla, and patchouli. It reminded me of those pastel heart candies I love that smell like perfume, and up to that point, it was great. However, within the first 10 minutes, it faded very quickly, and after two hours, it was gone. It’s true that it’s very skin-scented, but what happens if it disappears after two hours? That’s why I’m disappointed. Honestly, it’s not worth it.
Elegant perfume; it’s the second one people have complimented me on. The violet scent is wonderful.
Not worth the price. Absolutely not.
