It smells rare, very uncommon. At first, it seems like cereals burning while cooking or scorched rice in the pot. It has notes of oud, patchouli, pepper, and geranium that give it a smoky touch, but it’s not a typical burnt smell; it’s more ethereal and light, though still strange. Then comes the wood orchestra: Oud de Laos, cedar, and vetiver, with a creamy spiced tonka bean base. The evolution is top-notch. It’s an enigmatic and mysterious perfume that marks territory between niche experts and those seeking sparkling scents. In the end, it’s sweet and woody, reminding me of Terre d’Hermès Parfum but without the citrus part. A great olfactory experience. It’s for maturing, not for instant love at first sight. Super elegant, serious, formal, and mysterious. Unisex, though I think it leans more toward men. Lasts 10-11 hours on my skin, with a contained projection but noticeable at arm’s length. Great for formal or semi-formal wear, versatile all year round, maybe not in extreme heat. For people over 35 with experience in designer perfumes. Scent 6.5/10, Sillage 7.5/10, Projection 6/10, Longevity 5.5/10
Interlude always takes me to a forest on fire; Oud of Fire, on the other hand, smells like a forest already burned down, with that smoky scent of wood and conifers. Watch out, they’re on opposite paths, and the Blue Beast is a much better perfume; Oud of Fire, while not bad, falls way behind its three line-mates. A strange, difficult, and therefore unique and original aroma.

A warm, enveloping oud with a lot of personality. Spices, incense, and smoky woods blend with a deep amber, giving it a sensual and powerful touch. It’s nothing soft or discreet: it’s made to make a statement. Perfect for cold nights and those who aren’t afraid to stand out. Intense, elegant, and fiery. 🖤🔥
