  The quintessential sweet, woody, and musky citrus! It’s my first time encountering clou de Hercule in a composition, so I’m not sure exactly what that note smells like. Otherwise, it’s easy to describe: oranges and citrus with a clean base of Iso E Super and ambrette musk. For me, these chords are super addictive, especially when combined they create an energizing, hyper-clean vibe without being a classic 100% musky fragrance like Le Labo’s Another 13, Nasomatto’s Silver Musk, or Mathilde Premiere’s Parisian Musk. This one is different and retains more of its citrus character, so it doesn’t fit that category. Are there similar scents? Very few; it’s very original, but I’d say it follows a similar path to LV’s Afternoon Swim: clean, subtle, refreshing, with good performance. If you’re looking for a quality orange fragrance, especially an extrait de parfum, you should try this. They share an aura of freshness and summer vibes, but not in their full composition, though both feature orange.
