I live in Argentina and need to know the price of Ode à l’amour to buy it.
Perfumes from this brand tend to degrade quickly over time, which has happened to several bottles of mine, including this one. A key detail before buying for collection… I keep others in perfect condition, but these sometimes don’t even last two years since purchase.
It was ahead of its time. I discovered it in Austria at those gorgeous, well-decorated YR boutiques where you’re delighted to receive gifts and samples. Upon smelling it, it felt distinct: intense, with an acidic and deep opening, strong florals, a touch of woodiness, and top-notch longevity. It stood out for being innovative. YR perfumes are always a great, affordable option. Years later, I’ve seen red fruits in many formulas; I must admit, some current scents remind me of this one from so long ago. These are day-to-day perfumes worth owning and enjoying until they’re gone; for my collection, I prefer others. A lovely memory of this scent.
