  • Very good fragrance and a solid dupe or inspiration for the Dior Homme Parfum and Intense from 2025, not the 2014 or 2011 versions as some claimed. Smells great, but if you’re looking for an exact copy of the original Parfum, this isn’t it.

I’m an iris fan, one of my favorite notes, and this perfume doesn’t disappoint. If you’re hunting for the Dior Homme Parfum from the early batches, you’re looking in the wrong place. In the opening, it’s very close to Dior Homme Intense: powerful iris, powdery, with character. But the magic happens in the drydown: it ends up almost identical to the Homme Parfum 2025; they’re nearly indistinguishable, and I’d even say Rayhaan lasts longer. For the price, it definitely deserves a spot in your collection. Nobody will notice it’s not the Homme.

I’m an iris fan, and it’s one of my favorite notes, so this perfume doesn’t disappoint. If you’re looking for the Dior Homme Parfum from the early batches, you’re mistaken. • In my opinion, without having smelled any Dior Homme (except in stores), it’s a formal fragrance that smells like someone serious and clean. It’s a rich iris with a slightly sharp opening due to the citrus, which then softens a lot. I feel it’s long-lasting and above all, it delivers; in my case, it lasts about 8 hours comfortably, projects a lot, and feels nothing synthetic.

  • What a rich fragrance. For lovers of iris and Dior Homme Parfum (especially the 2025 version), it’s incredible. It feels natural, nothing synthetic. Here in Chile, it doesn’t reach 30 dollars. The new Rayhaan line is coming strong, and with this Obsidian, plus the Aquatica, Italia, and Tropical Vibe, they’re going to have a lot to say in 2026.

  • Smells very similar to Dior Homme 2025, top-tier quality, but lasts a bit shorter than the original. Note that the drydown isn’t as great: it’s a sweet, amber scent, very commercial, almost like the DNA of Le Male. It has that sticky, resinous vibe reminiscent of Ultra Male and Le Male Parfum, but cleaner and darker. It doesn’t smell much like Dior Homme or powdery iris as the notes suggest; the leather and oud in the DHP 2014 seem like a mistake. It smells good, but worth noting this.

  • It’s very similar to Dior Homme 2025, smells great, but lasts a bit less than the original. The base fragrance isn’t top-tier; it’s a commercial, sweet, amber scent, almost like the DNA of Le Male. It has a sticky note reminiscent of Ultra Male and Le Male Le Parfum, but cleaner and darker. It doesn’t smell much of powdery iris or Dior Homme. The notes mention leather and oud from the DHP 2014, but that’s probably a mistake. Smells good, but keep that in mind.

  • I went to smell it thinking it resembled the Dior Homme Parfum 2014, but I found one that is very similar to the 2025 version. In some phases, it also reminds me of Le Male Le Parfum. The opening has a high-quality iris, clean and sweetening almost from the start. As it dries down, the woody notes emerge. It’s a fairly refined fragrance, ideal for dressing up well in winter or night outings. Compared to today’s sweet perfumes, it surpasses the average in elegance. The performance is excellent, and 40€ for 100ml is less than what you get elsewhere.

  • Excellent fragrance. To me, it doesn’t smell like Dior Homme 2025 at all, but more like Prada L’Homme Intense. The iris declared by Rayhaan is more restrained; don’t expect that makeup-like smell from the 2014 Dior Homme. For me, it’s a polished, clean iris. It opens citrusy and the clean, powdery, bright iris shows up quickly. Then comes the restrained leather, closing with sandalwood and cedar. It says it has oud, but I don’t detect it. It’s an elegant fragrance that needs to be worn with attitude.

  • I used the spray for a month, and honestly, it smells good and feels quality, but nothing extraordinary. For my 35€ on the Dior Homme 2025 line, I think it’s a bit pricey. I wouldn’t buy it again.

Incredible fragrance. I own both, DHP 2025 and Rayhaan Obsidian, and they are VERY similar, but I feel Obsidian hits harder, something heavier/more complete. For me, DHP is a slightly diluted version of Obsidian. I’m sticking with Obsidian because I feel its profile is richer and more complete, plus it lasts longer on my skin and costs 1/3 the price.

  • What a perfume scandal, ladies and gentlemen. My god, what a rich scent; just thinking about it makes my skin prickle. I’ve wanted to add a perfume with that Dior DNA to my collection for months—doesn’t matter which one (2011, 2014, or 2025)—all I wanted was to smell like this, which has altered my senses. Ray of sunshine, what a wow experience. I won’t talk about notes or technicalities; I’ll be brief. This scent is the holy grail of the ultimate men’s perfume; there are no errors or improvisation here. It creates an aura of opulence, of an interesting, mysterious, and conquering man who walks the world confidently, torso straight, attracting impressive reactions. A winning scent, I assure you. Trust me and buy it. You’re going to crush it, you’ll stand out, and people will never forget you.

  • A good perfume with a wearable iris. Not a blind buy, but I wouldn’t consider it a bad perfume either.

I bought it today based on reviews calling it the best Dior Homme Parfum 2025 inspiration. I need to wear it for a week to give a proper opinion, but after the first 24 hours, I agree with others: it evolves a lot. At first, it smells like Ultramale, and after 30-45 minutes, the woods come out. I reapplied after several hours, and the surprise was that it no longer smelled so much like Ultramale; now I notice the cedar and woods from the start. My mind is blown.

  • If you’re looking for something similar (not identical) to DHP from 2025, this is very close, though on my skin it feels a bit more muted. Performance is 8 to 12 hours, just like the DHP. I recommend it if you already know what the scent is and, above all, if you like iris.

An iris fragrance that’s worth every penny; it smells more expensive than it costs. It surpasses Dior Homme 2025—it’s not identical but definitely in the same style, and it even pays homage to the discontinued Dior Homme Parfum. As for Dior Homme Intense, there’s not much of it here, as some say; that one has a drier, powdery iris that dominates the pyramid. In Obsidian, the iris blends very well with the leather and gradually turns woody. An elegant, masculine, distinguished scent, better for nights and cold weather. Well-crafted; even those who don’t love iris can appreciate it. Performance is good and it’s evolutionary, not static like the DI. Take advantage of the price and the scent; you might not find it from Rayhaan later. No need to buy the DHP 2025 if you have this. Cheers.

I was eager to try iris and saw YouTubers recommending it. I bought the Kaian Classic by Al Watanian, which is similar to Dhi, and honestly, I preferred this one from start to finish. This evolves a lot: starts with iris, then turns sweet (reminding me of Ultramale or 9PM), and that part lasts about 30 minutes before it turns woody. Not bad, but the projection and sillage left me wanting. We’ll see if maceration changes things. I’m coming from Tropical Vibes, which has great performance across the board. Edit: As it dries down, it resembles Mercedes Benz Sing, a peculiar scent that doesn’t disgust me nor does it make me love it.

  • If iris isn’t on your radar, you’re not going to love this. It’s not bad, but that mix of iris and leather smells like a toolbox—like tool grease; it’s an exaggeration, but it gives you the idea. As it dries down, it improves, and that quirky leather base really shines. I see this for formal occasions. Lasts about 6 to 7 hours on skin, then becomes a skin scent.
