Joyita by Nino Cerruti, the 80s icon and Italian design genius who dressed Hollywood legends and revolutionized menswear. We owe Sharon Stone’s daring look in ‘Basic Instinct’ to this man; the star surely wore his Pour Femme. Both the fragrance and the character are a perfect match. I still remember her line: ‘I like men who give me pleasure.’ That’s exactly how Cerruti EDP feels—pleasurable and lustful. Notes of spicy cilantro, a coquettish bergamot, and a dark plum liqueur. Rose and carnation take center stage, blended with honeyed white florals. The base is musky with sandalwood and oakmoss. Fixation and longevity are fabulous, tenacious and subversive. The problem? It launched after Poison and Clandestine and got lost in the shuffle. But Poison is smokier, Clandestine fruitier and resinous, while Cerruti bets on spicy honeyed florals with wood and moss, of superior quality. A must-have for any 80s lover’s vanity: a couple of sprays and wait for that secret love to spice up your boredom.
