Men’s oil perfume is missing.
In my opinion, it could be a perfect perfume, but it lacks a bit of intensity. When I bought it (and spent a fortune) blindly because there was no tester, I thought the oil texture implied high concentration and longevity (like Body Shop’s Musc), but I was wrong… it’s almost perfect, just too subtle; ideal for intimacy, not so much for a party. However, if you use more, it increases the presence. But considering the price per milliliter and that it’s (allegedly) discontinued, it’s better to save it for special occasions. Plus, its opaque bottle, which doesn’t show how much is left, and the pleasant oil texture prevent this (for me) precious elixir from corroding. It smells musky, clean, and is super comfortable and sensual at the same time.
To clarify, it seems there’s a reissue for the 10th anniversary of For Her (the one with the pink cord), though I haven’t seen it in stores yet. If you’re going to buy it, make sure it’s the new version because many perfumeries still have old stock. The question is whether they reformulated it to give it more intensity or if it’s the same subtle scent as the original. Either way, I’d be tempted to grab a backup bottle; when I heard it was being discontinued, I was absolutely floored…
